    Well day one in my new job went very well and I bought home a couple of bottles of wine that were Good Luck presents :D

    I've just got back from my first Kettlebells class ad I loved it :j I was quite nervous about it, I didn't know if I'd be able to keep up but it was very much a beginners class, so next time I will push myself a bit more. I used a 6kg bell but will probably go heavier next time as I don't feel knackered, although maybe I should wait and see how I feel in the morning ;)

    Now its time for a nice hot bath and then pj's on while I get dinner and a relaxed evening I reckon. Today has been a nsd :T, its a rest day on the squat challenge so I don't need to worry about that and I have only done 5700 steps so far so may need to walk around indoors for quite a while :)

    Another day has whizzed by, my fitbit battery ran out while I was at work so its saying I've only done 3213 at the moment, although that doesnt include about 5 hours at work, so probably more like 5000-6000.

    I have been to Kettlercise tonight, I ache a lot more than last nights kettlebells class, its much more cardio than last nights. I haven't done my squat challenge today as most of the class was based around squats.

    Spends today = £6 for fish and chips for ds tea and some bread too.

    Nothing much else to report tonight x

    Another mad busy day at work, this week is flying! It has also been another nsd so far, may do a tesco order tonight so that could change though.

    Steps = 6430 / 10,000
    Squats = 0 / 60

    I'm not going to the gym or for a run today, I'm having a rest day as I ache from last night and its good to rest sometimes too ;) Mr S is working late tonight so I'm planning on some dinner, a bath and then my favourite way to spend an evening, chilling with the laptop :) I do need to read the paperwork for a mystery shop I've got tomorrow after work.

    Today has been pretty manic, this is my first moment to relax a bit. Work was mentally busy today, then I had a mystery shop to do. I've just submitted the results so can chill a bit now. I have completed my 10,000 steps for the day, first time this week which is seriously rubbish :o I haven't done the squats though, although I feel the kettlebell classes could make that challenge redundant.

    Spends today = £18 in Asda on some salad, ham, milk, blueberries, pizza for ds, t-shirt for Mr S, french stick and some yummy cake bites to take to work tomorrow to thank the others for helping me survive my first week ;)

    The mystery shop paid £8 and £4 towards an item I purchased (£6 swim shorts for ds) so overall a £6 profit there.

    I'm knackered :D I went to Kettlercise this morning which was great, and then Mr S and I went out on our bikes in the forest, we did an 18 mile ride and I am well and truly done for now :D

    The rest of the day will consist purely of a hot bath, comfy pj's, laptop time and a takeaway tonight ;)

    Last night I paid for chinese takeaway (£25) but I also did a matched bet on the Champions League final which got me £30, so that was dinner covered :)

    This morning we have taken the dog for a walk in the forest, I'm on 5500 steps so far today. I don't ache at all from the bike ride other than my bum being sore from sitting on the saddle so long :o

    Tesco shopping is coming this afternoon, ds will be back from his Dads, Mum might pop round for a cup of tea and then its the usual sunday routine of ironing etc ready for work / school tomorrow.

    My year group have gone on work experience now, so I have got two weeks of relative calm before the summer holidays start. Each year I usually set myself a financial goal for the 6 weeks, however this year its a fitness goal. I have been busy making myself a spreadsheet and researching aims etc to go on it. Basically I have set the following aims;
    1. To lose 10lbs
    2. Run 86.5 miles
    3. Cycle 300 miles
    4. Walk 800,000 steps

    I have until September 1st to try to achieve these, it did start from last week so is a bit longer than just the 6 weeks holidays. I have broken it all down into daily / weekly targets and so far I'm on track :)

    This morning I have run 5k, I did it in 29 mins 57 seconds, which is 1 second faster than last week, but for the first time ever I didn't walk any of it so I'm super pleased with that :D

    The rest of todays plans include going to Mums and helping her pack (moving in a couple of weeks), ironing, maybe some cycling, sorting out ds stuff for his residential trip next weekend and then just general housework stuff.

    Yesterday we cleaned all the gutters and I'm really pleased with how clean they look now, hadn't really noticed how green they were before :o We also went for a lovely 5 mile walk along the beach with the dog and then stopped for a pub lunch, lovely :) Have a good day all :D
