I very rarely go on fb now either, thats because of work mainly though, its too much hassle with kids from school trying to be friends on there
My new role is in pastoral support, so basically I am responsible for the behaviour, welfare and well-being of a year group  Should be lots of fun though
Mums okay, she had a major stroke a few weeks before Dad died, shes had a tough couple of years but has moved and now lives about 100m from us which is nice.
Tootallulah - I still keep watching all the goals from last season on youtube, it was such an amazing season
Its lovely to 'see' you're all around still, missed y'all xMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

Nice to see you back, and well done on the promotion. Can't believe your ds is at senior school now, where does the time go! Saying that my ds graduated from Uni last year, and now moved out into his own place and engaged to his gf.0

Hello FCat
Ds and I have been shopping this morning, he needed new socks and we were pretty well behaved and didn't spend too much
Spends included:
£4.50 on socks for ds
£4 on McDonalds breakfast for ds (I had coffee)
£10 on a face mask and a bath bomb in Lush
£4 on a magazine (I wanted the free nails inc nail varnish that's with it, rrp £11)
£10 in primark (sports bra, sunglasses, purse)
£3 in £land on go ahead bars and a plastic tub.
£2 on car park
Total spends = £37.50
Ds also desperately needs new swimming shorts but I managed to pick up a mystery shop for a supermarket next week so will get them within that
The plan for the rest of the day involves a fair amount of vegging on the sofa, I need to do a tesco online order and phone Sky as it isn't working again  Car insurance is on the list too.
I have day two of the squat challenge to complete (50 today) and I am currently up to 5,200 of my 10,000 steps target for the day.

Morning all, the sun is out and its gorgeous here, I have been out and done a 1.5 mile run this morning, it was the first one I've done all week as my ankle has been hurting so I've been resting it. I wanted to get back to it though so thought I'd test it, I took it gently and so far it seems fine
Today we're going shopping for new bikes for me and Mr S  There is logic to it, he can't drive so this will mean he can get himself to work when I cant take him because of my new job, it also means we can go out with the kids on their bikes and its another way of keeping me fitWe both have been saving up for them so hopefully later we will be able to get down the beach with the kids on them for a ride.
Other than that its just the usual for today; squats to be done (75 today), 10,000 steps to be done (on 3184 so far), tesco shopping being delivered at teatime and walking the dog. Have a good day!!Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

Hoooooray, you're back!
So lovely to hear from you here again...have definitely missed you:D
I can 100% say that your diary was my main inspiration in getting myself sorted all those years ago. In fact it was exactly 7 years ago that I got on here, read your diary and began my mse life:T I only know that as it was on my dd2s birthday...and you just made your return on her birthday again...I'm not a mad stalker:rotfl:
Great to hear all your news....but wow, your boy is at secondary?! Mind you, my eldest is now 18 and at college here doing fashion and youngest is 16 and slap bang in the middle of her GCSEs....not many exams left to go for her. They've grown up too quickly, I really miss having younger children though:o
So sorry to hear about your dad. Glad to hear your mum is nearer to you now. And fab to hear you and the man are still going strong:)
Anyway, enough from me...should get up and make the most of the last 2 days of half term! Though roll on summer holidays....got to love working in a school eh?!:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

We didnt get out on the bikes yesterday as they werent ready until 4.45 and the tesco order was due between 5-6pm. It didnt arrive until 8.40 :cool:but I did get a £10 voucher from Mr T's to say sorry
Today is the last day of half-term and its tipping it down, so probably a chilling indoor sunday planned. The boys have stripped their beds and the washing machine is doing its thing, the dog has been out, did I mention him? He was Mums dog but she can't have him in her new flat so I inherited him, he's a Lhasa Apso and dippy as anythingI've cleaned the bathroom, done a general tidy up and now need to think about the rest of the days list;
1. day 4 squat challenge (60)
2. paint nails
3. roast dinner
4. ironing
5. pack school bags
5. check ds has done all homework
6. clean keyboard as its minging and letters keep getting stuck
7. remake boys beds
8. make sure banking is sorted for new month ahead
9. 10,000 steps
10. meal plan for this week
Have a good day!!Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000
