Can I get these "extra" calls included in my monthly allowance?

Thanks utilitybroker
Do you know if Orange are throttling access to 07744 numbers or 07755 numbers ? I find it easy to get through in the small hours but at peak times very hard and I have alot of these 07744 numbers in my phone ?
Also I havent used the pre-dial number. Do orange throttle access to that at all ? Is the pre-dial number the only company to have an 02 number for gateway usage ? If so, how did they manage that ? (seems quite lucrative!)
Thanks in advance
07744/07755 traffic has been restricted by Orange in past and its possible they continue to do this. Or the services could just be very busy.
The O2 number is a normal contract number whilst not restricted its very popular. No idea how they do it.https://www.pd-dial.com have one (Evenings and Weekends only ) which is 07834-369-367 .But it doesnt reach as many destinations.0 -
Apples1, if you call the geographic number behind the 0845, that will be covered under your allowance. See http://www.saynoto0870.com/.0

Not a lot of good if they are not listed.

The numbers always exist, it's just a matter of finding them!
OP didn't say which bank or which number, so let's not jump to any conclusions til the OP comes back.

Utilitybroker - thanks very much
pd-dial also state they have an orange number, however this does not appear to be working at the moment.
The destination list stated for the o2 numbers that have been mentioned so far is actually not correct, as I have been able to connect to numbers not stated on the list !
For 3 and vodaphone users these must be a real god send.
Utilitybroker/anyone - do you know what it talkes to get an 07744, 07755, o2, orange number where you can get the revenue from incoming calls ? As the companiesmentioned above appear to be doing, or have i missed something ?

Orange barred the numbers, Pre-Dial had some as well.
To get a 07744/07755 number you could become an agent a lot of the numbers you see being promoted are agents of a couple of providers.
I have no idea how the o2 gateway number works,or how you might set one up.0 -
Folks, for heaven sake DO NOT USE 07744, 07733, or 07755 numbers from your mobile phone thinking that they are included in your inclusive free or x-net minutes.
Don’t believe me ?, make 1 short call on a day just before then end of your monthly billing date and verify it yourself (and save your precious money!)
THE ABOVE NUMBERS ARE NOT **MOBILE NUMBERS**. THEY ARE SO CALLED GATEWAY NUMBERS USED TO MAP SMS MESSAGES BUT ALSO PROVIDE VOICE CONNECTION WITH GSM OPERATORS, AT PRE-ARRANGED RATES.
There used to be a time it appeared in the inclusive minutes purely by error.
This is mainly because of a bug (mal-function) in the billing system software used by GSM operators in the UK (except Vodafone) ....THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE THE CASE ANYMORE WITH 02, T-MOBILE OR EVEN ORANGE !
Unfortunately, these have now become SCAMS run by private operators under the banner that sell **FREE international calls** from inclusive minutes. Fact of the matter is, they are 25p to 50p extra per minute than the normal international rate....NOTHING BUT LOOTING!
THE CROOKS OPERTATING THIS KNOW THAT THERE IS WAY OUT legally, even if they are taken to court due to the previous bug acknowledged by OFCOM itself.
OFCOM means a bunch of government sponsored uneducated idiots making policies for conman, scammers to generate money by fooling a common man's phone..earlier it was 070 personal service, now it is 077xxWAKE UP YOU OFCOM-MORONS!!!0 -

The bank was "Smile" (0870 the bank) although I was really looking for a general way round these extra charges when i have plenty of credit (not just a solution to the bank call). I don't call my bank often but most months there is something or other (esp directory enquiries) where I need to call from mobile so if there was a general solution I'd be chuffed!MTC NMP Membership #62 - made it back to size 12 after my children & I'm staying here!0 -
