Hello everyone
After spending nearly 4 days in bed  ( through sickness, unfortunately...;) ), I am up and feeling a bit better. I was starting to despair that my throat will never get any better.
Hugs and warm thoughts to you all struggling today, this miserable weather does not make it easier. Well, there is only one thing for it , :coffee: and a nice piece of cake. Dammit, that's what I'm going to do right now, housework and other assorted responsibilities can wait. Have a good day, I am off for some seriuos cake eating:p .SSB0 -
Rage in Eden
I think telling DH that his dear mum has the I.Q. of a toasted cheese sandwich might be unwise (if true) - sounds like she has the empathy and compassion of one as well.
Why not use the £15 that DH had earmarked for his mum and get your hair done at the local college? Then some good will come out of it.
Have huge pot of pea and ham soup in the slow cooker as DH loves the stuff and would eat all 6.5 litres if I let him!
Tomorrow is the funeral of his best friend who he has known for over 40 years so a sad occasion, but at least we can finally say goodbye to him.
DD comes back from uni on Sunday :j
Keep looking out of the window as I have two machine loads of towels on the lne and it really looks like rain. Feel like widow Twanky with all the washing!"This site is addictive!"

Hi Guys!
Feeling much better today:D
Had a hospital appointment this morning then we went to the local market for half an hour. Got some great bargains on fruit and veg. Managed to get 10 huge pork chump chops for £5 and enough rump steak for 3 meals for the 3 of us for £10. Also 4 lamb shamks for £6.
We came back to a lovely clean house as the cleaner came early today and was only here for an hour as there were 2 of them. She has done another excellent job...dont faint but its 3 week in a row:j :j :j :j :j :j ...and im still happy with the quality of work:rotfl:
2 washloads done and DW emptied.
Anyway, Id better go. Hugs to all.

Finally got my car sorted out with the warning lights on the dash board. I will get the invoice tomorrow, but hopefully it should be pennies rather than masses of £'s. Must pay more attention and look after the car instead of letting things slide!
Chicken curry for dinner later!
Anyway, best get uniforms ready for work/school tomorrow, catch you later
