My OH is fussier than I am, so we have a lot of stuff that isn't OS, but if our finances dropped we would be losing quite a lot of them. Stuff that I personally wouldn't be without are my pets and the internet, plus of course heating and lighting. We are in a rented flat, so can't do much about the heating/insulation, unfortunately!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

Great thread! Some of the things people can't give up I have, like my Liz Earle (also switched to Superdrug) I got rid of most Sky channels but couldn't give it up altogether - I love Sky Plus!!
Also would find it hard to give up my broadband, email is one of the main ways I keep in touch with some of my family and friends.
Grocery wise:
Heinz Salad cream
Decent loo roll
Free range eggs
Diet coke0 -
Lotions and potions together with make up. I have the high end stuff and luckily it has been the one thing I have never had to give up. Long may that continue.0

I am very lucky I get expensive potions from my MIL. I use clinique foam face cleanser, and E Arden mineral make up, but cream-nivea soft!! For hands - blue nivea Original!0

I have 10 windows & 2 sets of patio doors and pay £12 every 3 weeks. We pay £6.50 every month. They started coming every fortnight but I told them that is not necessary. We have 3 windows, french door and big bay window.
6 windows & 1 set of patio doors = £5 every 4 weeks.
I did stop it for a while last year when I was finishing my debt journey but it's also been reinstated:o. Whoever designed the windows in this estate want's shot - they don't open inwards / turn inside out etc so it's impossible to clean them from inside. I did try one of the extending pole things (it broke) but it just didn't clean them properly.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -

This! :money:
On an OS front, packet biscuits and curry sauce - although not together!Although I can and sometimes do make them myself, I don't think it's worth the effort.

Coffee whitener, I hate milk in coffee. The internet, I think it would be the last thing to go if we were destitute.
Shamefully, my very sinful ciggies. I live for the first coffee and a ciggy in the morning.0
