I know, that's why I used it. It's all a matter of taste and I don't care for false nails at all. Each to her own.

they arent "talons". its basically nail varnish painted onto my nails, but it doesnt chip.

When making economies we all need to have one small luxury to ourselves to make it feel like life is worth living. It could be a £28 a time nail-job or a 25p pack of Rich Teas but I'm just trying to get by on a really tiny income. I don't have thousands of pound's-worth of debts to default on, thank goodness. If I did I'd be getting shot of every single luxury known to man as well as a few necessities. Horses for courses

Ooh I just remembered.....posh ketchup. It costs about twice the amount of Heinz, let alone the supermarket own brand, and I get through masses of the stuff :( I curse the day that OH introduced me to it - before that I was perfectly happy with supermarket own brand tomato sauce - now although I'm a ketchup fiend and put it on everything, I can't even eat Heinz when in a restaurant or at someone's house, as it tastes like disgusting vinegar. Ergh.
  • Oh dear, I'm not sure I should even be asking what this "posh ketchup" could be. I don't think I've ever noticed it anywhere. Still, the only things I ever put ketchup on are eggs.
  • I think most people would agree that almost everything in a modern life isnt' very OS! I mean, heating & lighting seem to be a necessity, but how Old Style are we thinking??? Victorian??? Personally my mobile phone and broadband aren't necesssary but the internet certainly pays for itself because I can access sites like this one. Oh, and the window cleaner. I tried to sack him to save money, but my OH reckoned that it was worth the cash. How much BTW to people think is reasonable? I have 10 windows & 2 sets of patio doors and pay £12 every 3 weeks.
  • Clinique 3 steps products- after years of trying a lot of other products some cheap and some not so cheap, but I do shop around online for the best deals. I have very sensitive skin and it suits my skin type.

But my family tend to give me vouchers for this for my birthday or at Christmas.
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A

We pay £6.50 every month. They started coming every fortnight but I told them that is not necessary. We have 3 windows, french door and big bay window.

I am also very interested in that posh ketchup??(I loove ketchup, and ketchup mixed with mayo!! And good whole grain mustard..). My OH hates ketchup and at first it wasn't allowed in the house, he made me one with dry tomato paste and tomato puree.. But then he got bored with it.

The brand is Tiptree...I know it's made near where I live, but not sure if it's just available locally or if you can get it all over the country. For your own sake, don't try it!

They also make brown sauce which I'm assured is delicious, although I'm not a fan...and amazing jams.

    ...I don't work for them, I swear!
