Awww CnQ, hope your feeling better now??

    Not too bad thanks!

Took some painkillers and it sorted me out!

  • Thanks Claire ^_^
I am rared up to go for it, I guess its just the apprehension of spending the money - although I do know that it will be more than worth it if it works for me! And part of me is ready for it to fail, like some of the others here have said that they couldnt bear not to eat solid foods and I told a couple of the people at work that I was thinking about it and one just shot me down from my little high with her misconceptions and "we'll see how you are doing in 5 weeks and then we shall see who was talking c*ap" >_<
I shall see my friend tonight though and see how her first day went ^_^
    Thank you ^_^
  • Thanks C&Q ^_^
I thought so, how does the transition between the liquid and the solid happen, in what form does the shake come, powder? Also, if its powder what is it mixed with to make a shake?
Sorry to be so full of questions, I am trying to gather as much info as possible before starting ^_^
I knew someone in highschool do LL, I don't think she liked it much.

The milkshakes and the soups are mixed with water, hot or cold.

There are also readymade shakes in two flavours called tetras.

    The bars come readymade.

The fudge, cookies, etc, are made with a little water added.

We also have a mousse-mix to add to the shakes to make a lovely mousse!

The tetras can be frozen to make a form of ice-cream

  • My 21 packs cost me £36 per week.

  • Hello everyone

Im very proud of myself today - I have been to the pool. If youve seen my posts before you will know I have a hip and lower back problem and swimming made it worse before so doc and I didnt know what else to do.

My brother stepped in and decided he would try and help me in the water and I am pleased to say we have managed a good technique between us that doesnt seem to have aggravated me too much so we've agreed to go together twice a week.

I loved it today and feel very virtuous!

Diet going well no hiccups since the PMT episode and feeling really well. Im just at that point now where your nails and hair really show an improvement and people keep saying how well I look. Plus my normally spot prone skin is totally spot free - yay!

My thighs however do not now share my enthusiasm - they ache after that swim!
    :o
  • Aereya - its amazing how mean people can be - someone else pulled a face about me doing it the other day when she hadnt even tried it.

I find its best not to discuss it with people like that - some people just love to sabotage others and its usually because of their own insecurities.

  • Hello all

I am posting under my partners log in as I dont have one myself.

I am hopefully starting CD next week (pay day lol) I am really excited about it.

I was wondering though - how to go about starting, obviously I call my local cd counsellor, but I was wondering what happens after that? Also what about weigh in's - do I do them independantly of my consellor?

Is this a one-on-one type of thing or in a group?

I have been doing weight watchers for nearly a year, but so fed up of loosing 1-2lb a week, I need more motivation and support.

Any advice at all would be fantastic for a newbie!

    Hi Amy,

You vist you CDC as often as you like, I go once a week. They weigh and measure you and you can buy as many packs as you need to last until next time you go. It's a one-2-one thing, but I do know that my CDC has people that go in groups of 2-3 but these people have decided to do that. You can buy sachets that you make up as milky drinks (hot or cold), soup sachets that you mix with water, ready made cartons (my favorite!), bars, mousse mix to mix with sachets if you want, savoury veg hot drink plus various other extras that you can take or leave. I just have 14 ready made and 7 bars and don't bother with the rest.

I did weightwatchers to and the 1-2 pound a week (or less!) didnt motivate me at all, this diet definitely motivates me!

Went for weigh in last night and I've lost another 7 pounds! Felt really really pleased as I didnt even think I'd done that well tbh. So I'm now 12 pounds from where I want to be and I've got 3 weeks to do it in so no room for whoopsys!!

Hope you all have a great day!
