  • I am usually with my CDC for around an hour - mind you we talk about all sorts!
She has two dogs who adore me and they cuddle up on the sofa with me!

    I pay £36 per week for 3 a day - 7 shakes/7 soups/7 bars

Yes they can charge what they like.

Usually you get the booklets free of charge, although some counsellors do charge for them - the Sole Source Booklet and the Cambridge Weightcare.

I get the Cambridge magazines free of charge from my CDC too - and I got a Christmas pressie from her too - a gorgeous scented candle and a pot of mix-a-mousse - which was very kind of her.

Remember that they all have to have done Cambridge themselves, then they are recommended as CDC's by their own.

I stay for an hour with my counsellor to, we always have a good chat, for the first half hour its about the diet, then the next half hour it can be about anything, last night we were talking about holidays and moving abroad (her not me - I wish!)

Day one today, just had a tetra for brekkie (Im having them all week) Got a small bottle of coke zero for later and as soon as the shop opens at 9 Im off to get 2 litres of water.

Let me know how your all doing

  • Hi Claire and everyone

Had my tetra for breakfast, feel a bit sick actually, its quite heavy. Had my weigh in yesterday

Drinking my water, so will keep you all updated!

Good luck everyone. You are all my inspiration.

    Love Ang xxx
  • I find the tetras a bit heavy too.

Cambridge are supposed to be bringing out a new flavour - vanilla - but they are having problems with the production, apparently.

They are good if you are out for the day, along with the bars. Make life a bit easier.

    Have fun with Cambridge!!

  • Thanks - I feel a bit reassured now - our lipotrim woman was fantastic - but the flavours were disgusting - Ive tried the CD ones and I really liked them so here goes.

I am seriously thinking of asking to become a CD person - there are hardly any in my area and the ones there are seem a bit bonkers - I used to be a weigher at a slimming club and people used to specifically ask to be weighed by me as they thought I gave good advice (although clearly it was do as I say not as I do!) - anyway I am determined to get the weight off so that I can get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy so wish me luck everyone and good luck to you all

    Oooh theres a question

How much do cambridge counsellors make from each sachet/tetra/bar sold??

I'd be really interested to know the answer to this if anyone knows!

Does anyone know how much coke zero youre allowed to drink? Can i drink the diet coke without citric acid in? Tescos own diet coke has no citric acid so was wondering if I could have that?

I dont think they make much at all, my old C told me once and i thought it was really bad how little they make. And they have to buy all the products in bulk, so its a big outlay for them.

I know my counsellor has told me that she has to buy in bulk to get discount on the stuff but I'd love to know how much they make, however little it is it would soon add up with people having so many sachets at a time

re the coke zero, I think your allowed 2 glasses (about 1 pint) per day but must be in addition to the water your having. I think someone else has mentioned that you can have tesco diet coke with no citric acid. I'm sitting here with a small bottle of coke zero that cost a pound, not very moneysaving, might have to pop to Tesco tonight on my way home
