Spud you can tell us if you want too.
I was in my closet today and looking at my thin clothes. i used to be quite tiny. i cant believe i thought i was fat. I am wearing a pair of pants that didnt fit when i started CD so thats good. still waiting to drop a size properlly and get into the smaller jeans. It will happen if i work hard at it. Wont be so great when my job actually starts and i have to eat though. but will try my bestIf you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0 -
Spud - it is so hard... i totally understand what you're saying... ((hugs)) hun..... i dunno what to suggest really as a work around......
Alf - you'll get back into those skinny pants soon enough!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Alph, you will be in your jeans soon hun, I'm sure.
Theres not much to say Maz is there.
I've got to decide whether I want to carry on with CD, lose the weight quickly and easily but at a risk of making myself and my family unhappy
OR
Call it a day with CD, continue by myself to lose the weight slower eating healthily and sensibly with lots of exercise.
Either way, I have over 3 weeks supply of CD to get throughIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Spud why not give yourself three weeks. use the three weeks to loose as much as you can and then decide what you want to do.
Im going to have to suppliament what ever meals i dont have at work (will be having one or two depending on what shift i am on) with CD but wont really be able to do it properly once i start. If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0 -
You're probably right Alpha.
Maybe I should bid my farewell to CDC, be as good as I can with the 3 weeks I have left, but not beat myself up too much if I fancy something with the family (obviously eating healthily)
I cant eat anywhere near the amount I used to, and I'm really aware of making the right choices with food now so hopefully I will manage to lose a decent chunk in the 3 weeks, then continue at a slower pace on my own.
I have mixed feelings. Part relief and part failure
I really am full of admiration to all those of you who have managed to stick with CD long term.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

i wish the choice wasnt forced on me. but my job is more important right now. I think though that i will be able to pick it up again in about six months 100% (this depends on somehitng mrA and i are applying for but i dont want to jinx it by saying anything) so wont be at the job for more than six months then will have six months after that to do CD 100%. should be skinny then
My action plan though for now is to really up the excersie. Halfords called to say our bikes are ready so will go and collect them this week
Good luck Spud and if you do decide its not for you dont feel bad. Just keep us updated how you are getting on without itIf you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0 -

Totally know how you feel. Talk to your Cambridge counsellor about the 810cals or 1000cals programme before you give up. I have a horrible feeling that if you give up now, you will feel relief for an hour or two but this will be followed by regret. If you are anything like me, then you will eat to comfort yourself, hop on the scales and depress yourself and start eating more. With the 810cals you still have 3 shakes but you have chicken/fish and salad/veg plus skimmed milk, so that way you could sit down with them and eat but apparently you can still lose at a fair speed if you are 100% (its only my first week on 810). You wont be in ketosis so hurrah for sweet smelling breathe but you will still lose the weight but have the backup of having to go and get weighed once a week to spur you on.....Slimming World: SD: 2.05.16 SW: 13st10lb
Goal: 11st 10lb by my birthday in August

Goldie, our CDC isnt really all that supportive. All the questions we've asked in the past, she's either avoided or hasnt answered. I cant say that I've got on that well with her to be honest.
I definitely wont give up eating properly and go back to my old ways. Been there done that, regretted it for the past year. I intend to weigh in maybe weekly on the wii fit, and if I put weight on, do something about it straight away. Plus I'll be exercising plenty, so wouldnt want to have to stop that.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hope everyone is having a fantastic Sunday(Land_of)_Maz wrote: »Pap, by september you could 4 stone lighter! I hope you'll be 1 stone lighter within the next month!!
Well Maz, with my track record of diets I seem to plateu after 1 stone so thats my aim first. I know its not possible on this diet but my body is one strange creature :rotfl: So sorry you had a bad evening but at least it made you face your food problems. Its tough and its a long ride but you will soon have no problems with food ~ trust me :T
Good luck tomorow with the weigh in :jDuncan0808 wrote: »PAP, that must be hard to prepare food and not pick at it, I used to work in restaurants and would always be picking, that was where my weight started going on. Glad you are feeling better.
Ahhh its easyas long as someone is around I wont pick. Its when I am left on my own that temptation is there... However my trusted water bottle saves the day :T Great Goals ~ I can never imagine myself any smaller than nearly 16st so I dont really have goals like that, but I cant wait untill you get to yours :T The only thing I was really excited about is going into a regular shop and buying anything off the rack not going to the plus sizes
Whoop whoop at the 6lb loss ducan :j :j
Spud, as i mentioned last night ~ try a higher plan, that allows for food. However if you decide to leave CD we will be here and on dfw supporting you with whatever diet you chosse to do. Plus once you get running I am sure the weight will start falling off.

Had a great day today... my store manager told me I looked radiant :T So out of cureosity I asked him when I last looked like that? His answer... 5 months ago when another store manager left. Of course I was calorie counting and water guzzaling then... and in the 5 months I had gained nearly 3 stone  Bit of motivation that was..... Then I had to cook more fish  :rotfl:0
