  • Alpha ~ Thanks, I might go and see the doctor but me and doctors dont have a fab relationship  Pain killers are working just now but I am just really worried about putting weight on

Princess ~ Whoop Whoop :j :j Fab weightloss :rotfl:

Duncan ~ Ohhh I have pcos too :T Hence why I am in such discomfort, my last totm was August last year and then it was two spots. When I was younger I did ask for the pill or something but they told me I was too overweight  Anyways fingers crossed it doesnt last much longer. Well time will tell if she is ok with it, I will tell her I have been having a rough week etc before I weigh. The thing is if I only lost 1lb/sts/put on I dont see much point being on CD as its costing me an arm and a leg and I could be eating normally

Anyways I will let you know how it goes on Sunday ~ Thanks _hug__by_bad_blood.gif

PCOS, gives you a tendancy to put on weight, (amongst other things). Hormones have a huge impact on your mood, weight and how you feel generally. Particularly during TOTM.

You may find it harder and slower than others to lose the weight, but if you are eating less calories, it has to come off. Even if its not a lot this week, it will be more next week.

My weight can fluctuate by say 10lbs over 24 hours, which is why I am not too worried about my gain, this is all hormonal. Its quite unusual to fluctuate this much, most people will only do it by a couple of lbs.

You sound really down at the moment, and I know exactly how you feel.
Usually I would get my baggiest PJ's on with my fluffiest dressing gown and a hottie bottle and curl up on the couch eating white toast with butter, cubes of cheese and pickled onions, whilst drinking a bottle of red!! (Alcohol is an excellent painkiller - just not recommended by the medical profession as it has too many negative side effects!)
Try the snuggly bits without the nibbles, keep drinking the water.
It is a strange thing but the more you drink the less water retention you will have.
And most importantly remember its the hormones that put you in the sh***y mood. Its not you, just the hormones.

Really hope you feel better soon, its so miserable, keep your chin up!
  • Duncan ~ Thanks, dont I know it  while calorie counting I could lose up to 2 stone and then within a week it will all be back on. Of course then I just cant be bothered  Anyways I am in bed now and I will be pulling out my fave fiction books soon. Its just a blip, I knew this could happen but its hit me harder than ever. i hope my CDC is as supportive as you :A

Take care and have a fab weekend :T

Don't worry if shes not, we are all here to help.
You go and get snuggly with your book - I'm going in the bath with a new book soon, and a nice big bottle of sparkly water.

Lighting up my candles, might have a body brush and a bit of a pamper!

    Hope you feel better tomorrow.

    Evening,

guys i had the fear again today. WI number 3 is tomorrow. Not having a loss is terrifying me to the point of tears and my heart starts beating really fast. I didn't have anything today apart from my 3 litres of water. I made a shake but got really tearful and poured it down the sink. Why is this happening??
    Still to go: 24lbs

Because its so bloody hard work all week and not losing would be desperately disappointing. We have all felt like it, but don't throw your shake, it cost you over a quid! The weight will come off, sometimes you have a plateau but it still shows in inches. Try not to get too worked up, you are doing great. I had a mars bar yesterday and panicked because I thought oh no, now i'm on 810 and not in ketosis, I can sneak something and it should be okay. So my fear is now losing control. To be honest, I shoved it down in about four hungry mouthfuls but it was so sugary and sweet I can't say I enjoyed the taste. Just the feeling of scoffing it!

Don't panic, hope the WI goes well. I'm at work today so will log on this evening and looking forward to seeing what you lost because I'm sure it will be good. Come on the bounce :T:T:T:T
