bounce, you said you have not had anything? if you dont have your shakes your body will go into starvation mode and you will not loose weight. You need to have your shakes ok.

Hey Foxy, what are you doing up at this time? Or are you a crazy one like me who is always up at 6am! Off to work later, this is always my time to catch up on the computer, when the kids are in bed!

Pap, by september you could 4 stone lighter! i hope you'll be 1 stone lighter within the next month!!

I have had a miserable evening, and i'm in a miserable mood... i just wanted to post to get it off my chest...

It was runchum rachel's hubby's 40th this week, and a mutual friend was throwing the surprise party at her house tonight ... me and erin went along (big g was meant to come but didn't - whole other level of !!!!sed off-ness, let's not go there!) but the reason i'm really pee'd off is because i felt like a fish outta water totally... everyone drinking, eating and generally having a good time... and i was not.

now i'm not a big drinker, i'm generally the designated driver so this is not the issue, i'm obviously just a social eater.. and TBH the idea of that depresses me no end. I am so annoyed with myself for not being able to go along tonight, be happy and have fun without constantly feeling the sense of denial that was my over riding feeling of the night....

yes there were compliments, yes it was a good laugh with the nice people, there were some nice photos taken and i looked good in the ones i saw... but mostly i cannot get over how much not eating has clouded a nice evening...

boy do i ever have a problem with food!!?? Evidently!!!

But i allowed myself to have one can of fizzy to blend in a bit plus loads of water..... had a tetra before i went and a choc shake just now upon my return home, so can honestly say, hand on heart that i never cheated once....

Too scared before weigh in tomorrow....... after enforced denial i really better have a loss tomorrow!!!!

Bounce-e - please try to have your shakes every day hun... you may very well end up making yourself ill if all you have is water...
i'm worried about you babes...... I've pm'd you my mobile number if you want to talk it out....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    :grouphug: Maz...

As someone who has been on CD and who is at the moment on it but not quite on it IYSWIM can I tell you what I think Maz!

Yesterday I went out to meet my friend who has severe anorexia. I get so mad with her I actually want to slap her even though I know its a body issue thing. She had her double espresso with six sugars and I had a hot chocolate with cream and a chocolate stick and a packet of shortbread biscuits!!!!!! I would normally only have a latte but because she is so thin and conscious of what she puts in her body it makes me do the exact opposite to what I should do.

I actually felt sick after the hot chocolate, I found it far too sweet and I couldn't eat even one of the shortbreads.

When I go out for a meal now I can't have a starter and a main, never mind a pudding. What I think I am trying to say - quite badly - is that I think you are worrying about slipping back into your old ways when you come off CD and I think you will find that you won't. Now when I go to a party I 'allow' myself to have nibbles but I find after a couple that I have satisfied that craving and I actually don't need any more..

:grouphug: hope you feeling a bit better this morning...
