Men have to have 4 servings per day so that the price you have been quoted is correct.

Incidentally, my CDC never charged for Fibre 89 either, she said she didn't feel it was right to charge for something that for some is a necessity.

I really should go back she is lovely. x

  • Thanks for that ClaireLR...I just wanted to be sure that I was going to be charged the right amount.

I cannot wait to lose some more weight :)

My CC charged me £1.78 per packet on Sunday. Apparently they went up in July  . As I am 5'8" I have four packets a day plus he sold me some orange flavouring stuff to put in drinks and also some Fibre89. Told me my movicol wasn't quite good enough  . Anyway two weeks plus those came to £110 something. OH had a fit! lol

Day four and I woke up a little shaky on the legs so had a milkshake straight away. Walked the dog and was a little grumpy with her and she is such a sweetie :(. Went off to work at 11.30am but had another shake and took veg soup packet with me and had that at 3.30pm. Did have a Coke Zero aswell. Came home and still being as good as gold - thankfully! OH being a dear and cooking his own food - he is a very good cook I must add :T .

Still feeling okay now and will have another shake in about an hour or so. I have found having four a day much better than the three the other CC gave me. They have managed to keep me under control. I am wetting myself about tomorrow though...................don't know how I will get on being out from 8am to 6pml!!!

I am very pleased with myself - even though I say so myself and my stomach has actually shrunk a fair bit already :D:D .
  • Lara, the price list I posted on the previous page IS the new pricelist from July onwards.

Some CDC's charge a flat rate for their products, so it could be that is what you were charged. So if you only get shakes it will work out more expensive than if you get bars and tetras aswell, if that makes sense!

Hope you have a great day!

I am looking forward to my Quorn sausages for lunch!
  • Hi,

I am starting the cambridge diet SS tomorrow. I have a quick question I hope you guys can help me with. I know that on my 5th weeks I should have little meals (can't remember what it is called).
I really can't do this in 5 weeks I am on night shift all week and staying in a B+B. Can I move this to the 4th or 6th weeks?
I don't want to delay starting for a week as I am ready to go.

    Thanks
    Carrie
  • You can do AAMW - add a meal week - whenever you like.

You can choose to do it all the time if you want to.

Do it Week 4, for preference, rather than Week 6, though.

Hope all goes well for you!

  • How is everybody doing today then?

Lyn have you disappeared off into the wide blue yonder?

    How are the newbies doing???

Was excellent yesterday even though I say so myself! I asked for a cup of hot water and put half my soup in it, whizzed it round and drank it. Had the other half when I got home and then a shake.

Had mad dash to parents this morning as Mum taken ill. Had already had one shake but had nothing from 8am until 6pm when we arrived home. Mum in hospital very poorly and we had Dad to sort out. Did cheat for the first time as OH very hungry as had nothing to eat at all today so he had a McD's and I has a very small bite of just his burger (no bun etc) and eight chips as was starving too. Probably the worst things I could have eaten but I don't care as I was beginning to feel quite light headed so something was better than nothing! Just had soup and feeling better :D . Tomorrow is another day and I've got several difficult weeks ahead of me with travelling to hospital and parents home to come. Hopefully I shall manage fine.
  • Hope your Mum improves Lara. Sending healing prayers.

Well done with CD so far, you have done very well given the circumstances.

Hi all. I did the Cambridge plan around 2 years ago and lost 4 stone. I've put half of that back on so have called today to start sole source again. This thread appears a great support.

I never liked any of the CD products other than the chocolate tetra's. Just as well I dont mind selection lol.
