Well I'm back 2lbs lighter! Am definitely giving SS+ a go this week. I need a good kick up the rear if anyone is feeling energetic.....go on take a big run at it!! My picking has got out of hand, I think the fact that a size 14 is so comfortable now has kind of demotivated me. That sounds rubbish! Do you know what I mean?? I really wanted to be a 12 before I go on hols in 11 weeks and I know its possible but I think part of me just thinks oh well a 14 is good enough. Please help me.....no telling off too harsh!!
  • 11 weeks is time enough to get into the 12s maybe even 10s if you really really try - just remember how well your doing and have done and it should keep you going :)

  • got my second weigh in an hour then i think i will go for a swim maybe - not sure yet :)

i will be working away a bit next week with lots of meeting lunches breakfasts and dinners and i know i wont be able to escape all of them but i know there will be healthy food as i booked them - well not the dinners as they will be out but the brekkies and lunches - will i be ok if i try to stick to salad type stuff or fruit? really panicking as know i wont be able to escape it all - i sppose i will be fine for brekkie but its the lunches and dinners that worry me and i know i wont be able to take my shake in or out to dinner

    :(

Maz! I have been and not bought my cdc doesn't mind at all, sometimes life means we can;t have all the packs why should you payt when you don't need them!

I changed cdc as my old one was a good 20p more for everything and was really off if I had a 'meal' even though she was alot bigger than me (and tbh not a great add for cd!!)

Pea! well done on the 5lbs! you go girl!!

Moneybubbles - thanks for that, having spoke to cambridge head office i know that it's the CDC's rule which they are trying to pass off as a Cambridge Rule to get me to stick to it.... i've kinda lost faith in them, but as the diet is working then i shouldn't dwell on it... in fact i should be more determined to finish this sooner and end the problem!

Spoke to Big G about it, and he said that it wasn't worth getting confrontational about it, but to let it run until i get to mid june (only 5 weeks away) and give my notice in... at least that way i have enough packs to see me well thru maintainence phases and beyond......

i've been 100% today, even forced myself to have a thai chilli soup to use it up... and it was okay actually... would be really nice with some jasmine rice and shredded chicken, maybe a few veggies! a la Thai curry styleee...... so i might get a few of them and make a 200kal meal out of that sometime (minus the rice of course!)

    Anyone heard from spudly today?
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • Pea ~ Congrats on your weight loss :j :j

Maz ~ I hope its sorted out though, dont give up on CD I think if CDC's were monitored things like this maybe wouldnt happen. I bet others CDC's arnt like that but I guess each is different.

Hope Spud is ok too :)

exactly my fear goldy and why i'm not going above the half stone limit... even it ended up meaning month on, month off of cambridge.....

Plus i have given away all my big clothes so no going back!!

to be fair to myself i hope that my exercise levels will mean i can maintain well... it would be a bit unfair if running 12 miles plus other gym/swim stuff i do in a week doesn't do something to keep your weight down....

how big were you, what was your goal, and how big did you get again? - if you don't mind my asking?

    Hi Maz
I was 12st 7, got down to 10st 13 and BMI of 25 then went back up to 12st 6lb again but it took a year to pile it all on. Am now 11st 3lb so 4lb away from that target again. Funnily enough I don't feel nice and slim like I did the first time. I am going to try and keep going until I get to 10st 7, then when I get there, make a decision as to whether or not to push for 10st. I feel better about the diet again now, told my CDC I would do SS+ but am actually having a rethink and seeing if I can stick to sole source. Your CDC sounds a bit unfair, you should be allowed to buy what you need.

i thought that you weren't mahoosive in the first place... even at your heaviest you still weighed less than i do now! so i guess it's all relative isn't it?

I think the moving goal weight thing is the best idea, you, your friends and your family all know when you are as slim as you need to be...
i'm the same really, 10st 5.5lbs for healthy BMI, but no lower... and i might stop sooner if i'm happy...

Re the CDC, i'm trying to let it go and will rock on until mid june then give her 2 weeks notice... then i will have a plentiful stash to keep me going for a while....
i need to focus and try to shift as much as i can so i am as close to goal as possible by end of june....

100% day yesterday, so i'm pleased.... same again today i hope!!
