  • next friday - dont think i will be able to do it much longer though as will not have a bmi over 25

    what do you think is the best way to maintain - low carb or low fat or both or GI?? i am really not sure at all

    Princess ~ Will you not be following the steps up? Thats what I will be doing. It is restrictive on what you can/cant eat but there are recipies to follow in the book. When at maintance you can still have some shakes but they encourage a lower carb diet and more veg/protein.
  • yeah i will be doing maintenance but dont really want to include cambridge meals in my every day eating. i dont have the book so not seen recipies. im not sure when to go up a plan yet as i assume i wil still loose weight on 810 cals a day??

    Oh you dont have to keep having the shakes, you can have them as far as you want them when on maintance. I will prob do a month of having the shakes at maintance and then replace that 150cal (or whaterver) with fruit :D Ohh ask you cdc for a yellow weight care book. It has all the plans and recipies in and its fab. On 810 you are still on a low calorie diet so you will lose a pound or two but its really to get your metobolism ready to get upto 1500cal a day. If you go from a vlcd to 2000cal a day your body will go into shock. In the book it advises... Step 2/810 ~ 1 week, Step 3/1000 ~ 2 weeks, Step 4/1200 ~ 2 weeks and Step 5/1500 ~ 2 weeks and then maintance :j
  • ahh thats good - i go on holiday july 6th so if i stay on this till end of this month fingers crossed i'll be well on my way to go up a plan :)
