You never know Maz, you might have some days when you are extra hungry and have more than 3/4 packs.

Are you worried about hitting target? I am because that is when the real challenge will be for me trying to keep the weight off and not going mad on the fatty foods.

i am worried but depending on where i stop, whether it be 10.5stone or 11stone, i'm going to give myself a definate half stone limit and get seriously tough on myself to stay within the limit... although i doubt i could drop in and out of CD every few months if CDC is as inflexible as she's appearing now....

I actually feel like i've really kicked my carbs habit into touch and don't want to go back there.......

That's a good plan actually. when I get to target I will try and not let myself go 1/2 a stone over.

I have a feeling my CDC will be seeing me quite regularly after i hit target!

I think we will be having a lot more holidays, as i won't be feeling so uncomfortable and fat when on the beach - its going to be great!!

Hi guys..been AWOL again....wish I had more time!!! Well done on all the losses. I'm off to WI v soon but not too hopeful really, my scales are showing 1 measly pound!! And I've actually been good!! Oh well a loss is a loss I suppose. Been thinking I might give SS+ a go this week cos I'm getting bored and maybe a change will spur me on again. Anyway I'll post soon with the big result!!

Hey poggy! - let us know how you get on!

So guys, i have phoned cambridge head office.... spoke to a lovely woman called Sam... she said that there were no guidelines within cambridge that you must buy a requisite number of packs, no notice period on the medical form (unless you signed a seperate form made by CDC which i didn't, i think!) and that in her opinion CDC seems inflexible and is not doing her job...

i said how i might want to be a CDC one day and would expected her to be my sponsor but actually now i feel like this "challenge" has changed my opinion of her and that i might have to look for another counseller to go forwards with....

i said how i understood that no packs means no revenue but the HQ woman said, each clients journey is a long term investment and it's not about profit week on week... CDC's do make money but it's not just about the money making aspect of the job....

I feel sooooo much better now...

so how to discuss with CDC now then?

  • Maz, so CD hq says you dont have to buy a full weeks supply every week and they are offering a long term service which does include some money for the packs. Well i would just bring it up with here at WI and see what she says after you have contacted hq. If needed try and get Sam to put it in an email for you to give to her.

If you did give your notice etc would it have an impact if you want ed to CDC yourself? Ie would they look down on the fact you left for a week and restarted or could you explain that at interview?

Oh btw having second shake of the day ~ butterscotch, this has to be the worse flavour ever, what were they thinking ~ its horrid, I am gagging on it even with a straw. I think I will leave the other one (I had two of these) till Sunday night and see if she will swap just this one. The others I could prob stomach :)

I was at target last year and was full of good intentions. A year later I am trying to get the whole lot off again so don't do what I did and let it creep back on. Think that's why I am finding it so hard this time around. Having had to go through this twice I will DEFINITELY not let it happen again!

exactly my fear goldy and why i'm not going above the half stone limit... even it ended up meaning month on, month off of cambridge.....

Plus i have given away all my big clothes so no going back!!

to be fair to myself i hope that my exercise levels will mean i can maintain well... it would be a bit unfair if running 12 miles plus other gym/swim stuff i do in a week doesn't do something to keep your weight down....

how big were you, what was your goal, and how big did you get again? - if you don't mind my asking?

i've got to pop to shops in a mo for tinfoil... just necked a chocolate shake to take away the urge to buy anything other than tin foil.....!!

i might actually buy myself a nice bottle of sexy mineral water as a treat, because i generally just refill bottles and a sexy new one is something rare!!

    What a saddo!!

  • Maz not sad at all. Mum bless her brought me a crate of bottle water from work when she knew I was going on this. Nearly all gone now though so in mse style I am refilling *yuk* however needs must.

Oh but thanks for thhe tip on here/dfw about the sports bottle top. I have a bottle of highland spring (750ml) with a sports top and its so much nicer refilling and using that than drinking from a 1.5l bottle :j Thanks
