Well done on the 4.5lbs Maz :T

I had thought of asking DH to stop, purely because he's having such a tough time, but I really dont think he would, or that he should.

He's morbidly obese, and needs to lose weight more than I do. While I carry on, he wont give up. He wants to support me and would hate to cheat and let me down. If doing this together helps him lose weight, then great.

He's done really well so far, and is taking things very seriously. He touched the kids' tea yesterday to check it was hot, then licked his finger. He panicked so much, he rinsed his mouth out for ages :rotfl:

I reckon we're in this together, and if one quits, we both quit ;)

  • Well done Maz ~ Great loss :j :j :j

Thanks all, yay me :j As I dont like soup/porridge that much I went for every flavour of shake (except the forest fruits thing) and 1 of each tetra for work/social then a mixture to make the 21 ~ so I have no idea what I will have each day :rotfl:

Go the Papster!! And well done Maz on the 4.5lbs. (it's a good number!)

Alrighty, so i went away and had a little think. I also drank 2 pints of water which has made a WORLD of difference! Still could murder some crisps but i feel so much better. Yay!

Also, sorry to be a pain in the botty with my endless newbie questions, but what colour should the ketostix be? It was skin-coloured kinda. But i forgot what CDC said! She just gave me a few to try so i don't have the box they came in. x
    Still to go: 24lbs

Hi everyone. Have you missed me? lol

I havent been on because I have been eating like a pig for the last 4 days. Just haven't stopped. Had kebab, chinese, chips etc. I am disappointed in myself and feel like throwing the towel in on this diet. Been so miserable.

OH hardly speaks to me anymore because I am a miserable mare and all i seem to do is grunt at him and snap at him. He only has to ask me to repeat something and I am screaming at him. Can't remember the last time I laughed.

    Anyway, sorry for boring you.

Glad to see most of you are sticking with diet and doing well. dreading my WI on Tuesday. I am expecting the worst though and there is nothing i can do about it now.

Spud maybe you could try any of the following, moving up a plan (where you dont need four a day and you can have a health meal in the evening with the kids or the other suggestion i had (and i know a couple who did it) is that you take turns! she did it first (she had less to loose) and he followed after (while eating healthy all the while) because they were with LL and could not afford to both do it

Well done Maz. Ive managed 2 this week (im guessing you missed it cause i didnt get any congrats ;) and i am pleased since i didnt have a great week.

Goldy and Bounce who are also having a harder time, its not forever and if we keep trying the weight does keep coming off (maybe not as high as if i was 100% but its still down :D and this is what i focus on)

Aww Welsh *big hugs!!* its not the end of the world, its how a few of us are feeling and i would love to eat for four days :D but i have had pizza recently etc. why dont you move up a plan? sole source plus? its easier to stick too
If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:

Well done Maz (now I really am disappointed in myself!). You have done so well.

Bounce I think the ketostix should be a dark colour if you are in ketosis (pink/purple).

I may be wrong though and someone will be along in a bit i am sure with a definite answer for you.

Well done Alpha on a 2lb loss.

I keep intenting to move to SS+ but never get around to getting the right food in that i need. I have a problem because I don't eat any vegetables at all and all i could really eat is the chicken (suppose its better than what i have been eating though). I am not a fan of cottage cheese either.

Ignore me, I am just having a really bad week. Got to get back into this diet 100% or I will be this size (or bigger) forever. I know that at the end of this diet I will be a much happier and more confident person - just got to try and get to the end lol.

Hope everyone is having a good bank holiday weekend so far.

Maz, fab loss, well done. Everyone else seems to have had good losses too this week.

Welsh, i am right there with you! I have binged too this week and feel so out of control. Its seems to be happening more and more and i dont think i have actually lost anything now in the last 3 weeks (at least i haven't gained - YET!) I cannot give up tho. I still have 2.5 stone to lose and i WILL lose it!

Well done on not gaining. I am pretty sure I will have this week but as i said, there is nothing I can do about it now. I went out in the car earlier and was going to get a takeaway, but I drove straight past and had a strawberry shake instead when I got in. This diet cannot fail for me, its kind of my last chance in a way. If I don't do it now I never will.

Welshy, dont beat yourself up too much hun. Hey, you drove past the take away. Not sure I would've done if I'd actually got in the car to go

Did TOTM arrive? I've had my first TOTM in 4 years, so CD obviously messes with the old hormones
