morning all - hope everyone is doing okay.

nothing to report, concentrating hard on being good...

Going to cinema tonight to see preview freebie screening of Coraline with mum and Erin... erin will have popcorn, so am going to sit my mum in between us so i'm not tempted!

have an extra tetra with me today, and an extra bottle of water as sod paying £2 for a bottle of mineral water at the flicks!! especially when film is free!

Oh g*d i am going to f-ing cry right now.

Our wedding rings which should have been delivered yesterday are missing somewhere. Parcel force says customs still has them and customs says parcel force has them!!

I am trying to get back to customs because parcel force says they could deliver at the end of next week. thats too late. I cant wait for parcel force to send me a letter telling me there is tax to pay on them i need them now

Oh god i hope so. I was not stressed about this its only a relaxed affair but this is getting to me big time

Trying to ring customs still and all i am getting is 'the number you have dialed is busy' ARGH.

wel at least i dont feel like cheating - no food in the house anyway

I was sooo busy yest didnt get chance to come on - well done Welsh on your loss, and any other losers i have missed ;-)
i am weighing in a day early this week (thurs instead of friday) as my CDC is going on holiday.
I have been doing good with SS but still having a little odd nibble of cucumber or celery.
also been having the odd diet fizzy drink, i know i shouldnt but its either that or slipping, so hoping it wont affect much ?
also now have my ketosticks so now have something else to be addicted to other than the scales LOL, they are showing a nice pink colour so happy there
good luck for the rest of the week all and keep updating us with the weigh ins, i will report on thurs late am !!!

i love this thread y'know... it's like Cambridge dieters for the real world...

Caz if your ketones aren't affected by the diet drink then no harm in one a day max... my CDC says it's as much the junkfoodie kinda habit of drinking it that you want to kick... i said, hey let me have at least one vice!!

Alpha - Customs very rarely physically have anything.
They process paperwork and on occasion will physically examine items.

The delay is likely a paperwork issue.

Do you have copies of the invoice from the supplier?
Where are the rings coming from?
Ring Parcelforce and ask them for a latest status on the parcel - they should be able to tell you where it is - if they tell you this is waiting for customs clearance then ask them for the telephone number and if possible a name, (you might not get a name) you will also need your tracking reference.
Without knowing where the rings are coming from I don't know about the tax issue, but you can pay customs directly and they will release the parcel and parcel force can then deliver it.
