Good luck Poggy.
I know what you mean about cravings everyone. I was taking my eye make-up off last night and I swear the make-up remover smelt of tuna and cucumber sandwiches!!! crazy I know. At one point i thought I was going to eat the cotton wool lol.If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0 -
Hi bounce and welcome.
With regards to 3 stone by September, I don't see why not. I have lost over a stone and half in 4 weeks! The trick is to stick to this diet 100% and no cheating if you can help it. The first two weeks are cruel - its so hard, but you will get used to it. I am not saying its easy now, but when I look back to 4 weeks ago, i can't believe how far I have come. All my old cravings are still there, but I find I can fight them easier now.
Let us know how you get on.If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0 -
Thank you!
Strange as it sounds i am almost looking forward to the hell of the first 2 weeks and seeing what i'm really made of. Heard of the Mayo diet? I managed that a few years back. Brutal is not the word, but i was chuffed with myself. This will be some challenge, but my attitude is gonna have to be a few months of torture or spending the rest of my 20s hiding and miserable. No thanks! Just hope cdc calls me back....Still to go: 24lbs:think:0 -
Good Luck Poggy, Let us know how you get on.
Bounce-e, if you make the commitment to stick to the diet you can expect to lose an average of a stone a month, (Usually more in the first month).
It can be very tough, its definitely not easy sometimes, but the results are great and in many ways as you have no choice so it can be easier than other diets.
My top tip would be not to cheat, at all, not one little bit. Its a very slippery slope and has been my downfall before now. You can still eat for occasions but you need to plan it well in advance.
This diet works - BUT only if you let it!!
This thread is great and keeping me going.0 -
