Kirsty! welcome to the thread!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Thanks Maz and Duncan - you are both right !!!!
Welcome Kirsty!
Well done Donna!
Went to WI last night and lost another 4lb - so thats 22lb in 4 weeks. Week 5 here I come!If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0 -
Welshcake, Well Done - on 22lb in 4 weeks, thats great!
Hope that will help to spur to on to keep going.
Donna, that was great too especially after a holiday!
Kirsty, I have failed at this before but this time I am feeling very determined, mainly with the help of this thread, that is the big difference for me between my previous attempts.
Keep up the good work everyone, you can stick to it if you really try. I am starting to crave many things now but I am trying really hard now to concentrate on positive things to keep me going.
This is usually the point where I start to get fed up and start giving in - but not this time!!!!!0 -
Hey Everyone,
To try and keep me focused when temptation strikes I have some little things to keep me going that I will look forward to when I am slim.
One of them is to be able to buy normal knee high boots and be able to do the zip up!!
What are you all looking forward to when you get slim?????0 -
morning peeps!!
When i am slim i am looking forward to being able to run further and faster than i could before... to be somewhere in the middle of the pack at runclub as opposed to the back....
Today i have resisted temptation, i know, already!! Erin is at play scheme and despite my forward planning there was nothing to put in her sandwich for packed lunch so i made up her lunchbox sans sandwich and we went to the bakers where i bought her a filled roll... anyways there were the most lucious dansih pastries just made and iced.... but i resisted! and boy did i want one!!
This thread is great BTW, i agree!!
Welshcakes - 22lbs in 4 weeks is waaaay over average! you are smokin!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Well done Maz, that is a hard one, I think its the smell more than anything else that makes you drool. Smells are worse that seeing things I think. Especially in a bakery, you did so well.
My biggest fear at the moment is socialising, I am throwing myself into gardening at the moment to try and keep away from the usual BBQ's etc at this time of year, my son keeps asking if we will have one, but there is no chance.
One of the things I have really noticed is that since I have stopped drinking the red wine, my face is much clearer and not as doughy looking, (That sounds horrid when you put it like that, but I am sure you know what I mean).0 -
Hi everyone. Great losses this week! I'm off to get weighed shortly so wish me luck!

Hello, does anybody mind if i join in?
I haven't started yet but just left a message for my new cdc to call me back for my first meeting with her. I've been reading over the threads going back to 2007, and i have a feeling that this might be what i've been looking for. The freedom of WW meant that i always strayed within a few days, but i know this will be different for me. I'm 5ft 3 and 15st 11lbs. Would it be realistic to hope for a 3st loss by september? xStill to go: 24lbs:think:0
