Donna - it is so hard when life gets in the way of this diet isn't it!!! i had a busy couple of weeks socially at end of Feb and it was harder... start afresh and let us know how you get on babes!

Mercury, you might surprise yourself as to how much exercise you can manage... i'm on SS and was at gym on sat am, 5.5mile run on sunday am and swimming with my daughter on sunday pm... all on SS.... i am on 3 a day but on heavy workout days i tend to have 4.... i find the tetras are slightly more satisfying after a workout.. and more convenient in general... some people swear by half a bar before the gym and half a bar afterwards....

Y'know what, all things considered that is not so bad!!!!

    Here's to a new start!

Edit - you'll look back in 3 months and realise that in the great scheme of things, you'll have lost 3 stone already and this flase start will be a distant memort babes!

    Hi everyone.

How are you all doing today? Hope you all had a good weekend. I had food on Friday (only a piece of grilled chicken breast and some mushrooms). I did feel a little guilty, but back on the shakes now. I did me the world of good just to have that tiny meal. Its my WI tonight so we will see what damage has been done. It shouldn't be too bad, as the portion was the size of what a 2 year old would eat. I have skipped a few meals this week though - just couldn't face the same old boring thing. Going to buy some of the mousse stuff tonight and try that out.

No problem - hope its nice - don't think i can cope with something else that i don't like. I am so fussy, i spend about 20 mins picking the red bits out of the veggie soup - supposed to eat the soup within 15 mins!!!!

Can someone please explain about the ketosis thing. I have bought the sticks and they are going purple, which i know means i am dehydrated, but what colour should it be? There are about 5 colours along the side of the tube of sticks, but none of it makes sense to me and I don't know what is good and what is bad.
    Thanks

i think anything apart from the pale flesh colour indicate ketosis... i find purple strangely satistying as a good strong indicator but really any shade of pink is optimum i think........
