The big weight losses are because I have a lot to lose - about 4.5 stone - well 3.5 stone now!!! :j I don't think it'd come off you so much, although the first week will be the best.
I wonder though if the Cambridge diet is the one for you?

I'd not had a weight in for a couple of weeks due to work commitments! I got weighed on Friday and had lost 11lbs since my previous weigh in. This brings my total to 4stone 2lbs in 8 weeks!
Only 4 more weeks to go then I have to jump onto the 810 plan for a week0 -

Its my first day on CD and my head is banging, all I can think about is food and i just want to stuff my face, but I am not going to give up! What are you all doing to keep yourselves occupied?
P.S - What is SS?If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0 -

its my 3rd day on the CD and I have stuck to it more or less. Yesterday evening was so hungry I decided to have an extra soup which was a big mistake because it happened to be the broccoli and cheese soup that has to be one of the most vile things that I have ever tasted.
I feel a little confident that i wil be able to gothough with with but I have had to request to change products so I can actually continue. It is affecting me noticeably though ... I feel weak and lightheaded and my ears are being affected strangely enough ... what are the other side effects that everyone else has suffered?
I'm really hungry in the evenings and my fav prods so far are the chicken and mushroom soup, veg soup, choc drink bricks and plain porridge0 -
I just had the chicken & mushroom soup (well half of it) and i couldn't eat any more. I will try it again though and see if it tastes any better next time! I thought i was going to go mad today in work watching everyone tucking into their sarnies and biscuits.If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0

Evening everyone. Day 16 for me today. Feeling fine, but having the erm .. toilet problems for the first time. Had to use laxatives earlier, but feel fine now, think I will have to speak to my CDC on Saturday.
I am more or less living on a combination of banana, chocolate, and strawberry shakes and vegetable and chicken and mushroom soups with lashings of black pepper. Im not sick of any of them yet, actually really like the banana and chocolate shakes. I got my first lot of bars at weigh in on Saturday just gone. I got three, Peanut butter, Milk chocolate and malt toffee. Up til now I have only tried the toffee. It wasn't bad but my jaw was killing from chewing it. My CDC said to try and avoid the bars as much as I can and only have them as a treat, as they can encourage eating.

I actually really like this soup. I have loads of black pepper mixed in with mine though. Have you tried pepper? Or some of the others try spices etc.Fantastic Expectations Amazing Revelations0 -

Its my first day and I too have a banging head and cravings for food...
I aint hungry though...I think it is more of breaking the habit of picking , Something which I normally do..
I asked My CDC if I was able to have chewing gum as I am addicted to the stuff and she said yes as long as its sugar free so that too has kept me going today
I must say though I have just had my first black coffee and that has made me feel a lot better ..October grocery Challenge

£baby£ i totally agree with you on the broccoli and cheese soup, it is horrid. I think the chicken & mushroom or spicy tomato are the best.
