    Hmmmph.

Had to stay late to ensure a conference interview with someone in New York went right, meaning we had to order takeaway for about 12 people. I went for the healthiest thing on the menu which... surprisingly... was a chicken salad!

I know it's fine to have chicken, I just wish i hadn't done so in such short notice. That's two nights in a row now.

Okay, so I just got back from my second weigh-in. I lost 16 pounds, basically, so am chuffed. Obviously not expecting the same results in week 2 but will settle for half a stone.

    Yay :)

well done!! 16lbs is amazing! you boys are so lucky and lose loads!!!

I was at the gym today, i'm not a member and don't usually get but went as a guest of my friend.... gym (including mile run on tready), weights, swim steam room and so on..... it was fabulous!! i had a vanilla shake about an hour or so before and really wasn't feeling any the worse for wear afterwards, although i did enjoy the chocolate shake when i got home very much! reassuring to know that a reasonable level of physical activity now seems doable....

TMI alert - avert your eyes boys if you like.... i am on my period so hoping that pre menstrual-ness affected my only 7.5lbs in my first week, and that i have shed the extra pound or two that periods bring in time for my weigh in on thursday........

otherwise going fine with the diet, but need a big loss this week again to keep me motivated!

Thanks for the kind words everyone, really appreciate it!

Has anyone tried the Toffee and Walnut shakes... Christ, THEY'RE STUNNING.

My CDC gave me a shaker so I took a couple of sachets rather than the pre-made shakes. Had the Toffee/Walnut earlier and it was absolutely gorgeous.

i find T&W quite sickly so add extra water... i have been having mostly vanilla, chocolate, butterscotch.......

i had a cappucino one the other night, oh my god it was faaaaar too sweet!! i would normally take my cappucinos without sugar and found it far to sweet....
