The other thing was which I forgot to tell my cdc was I started to feel really depressed last night. not the depressed where you feel down. but the scarey depressed and I really don't want to risk going there. so I feel I made the best choice I will try doing something else. The good thing is I have realised I don't need to be picking all the time and just have 3 healthy meals a day, and I do need my cup of tea with suger and milk in the mornings to function. good luck to all you strong willed cdieters out there I do admire your willpower.:THOW MUCH ?0

so day 1 has begun... managed to down 2 extra glasses of water when brushing my teeth! so i guess that's a good habit to get into.... I started with porrige this morning, apple & cinamon, and although it wasn't lush, it feels like a reasonable breakfast so day doesn't start by feeling denied, IYKWIM.....
1 litre of water later and it's lunchtime... so i had a mushroom soup... it was proper soup-y... quite thick and fairly tasty... i did only put the minimum water in it... but it filled my mug up so it wasn't a tiny portion.... i might add more water next time though as maybe not be as hard to get to the bottom...
Going out for my break, as i am now going to call it, at work, as opposed to lunch, as no lunch will be consumed....!
Going to get petrol, and see if somerfields have any herbal teas... someone on minimins said they liked redbush tea, so might buy a little one of those to try.
I also created myself a blog on minimins, as i am keen look back and see how i get on....!
so far so good... onwards and downwards (the weight that is!)
Hi Maz, just read your blog on the minimins site...was going to comment but couldn't figure out how to do it, so I thought I would pop back here and do it..but now I can't remember what I was going to comment on....:o
Oh I know, I have an electric hand whisker, it was about £4 from Asda. I take mine to work but forgot the bottom bit of it yesterday so I ended up with a hand shook shake which was lumpy...so I might go and buy myself a spare to leave at work..
I tried porridge this morning - it was rank so I threw it away and had a chocolate mint.....butterscotch is my favourite at the minute.. I might just try 21 of those next week..:rotfl:
On the plus side I have just updated my weekly bank account and I have spent so much less on food, takeaways and eating out!!!!I am quite chuffed.
Looking forward to seeing how day 2 goes for you. I found breaking the late night snacking habit hard too....but it does get easier..Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

227mls.... which is about an average mug really.....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I find it is very hard to mix a shake just by shaking in a cup! Ikea sell battery operated hand whisks for £1 which are fab for mixing both soups and shakes. You can find these whisks in other shops too. Good luck!0

yeah! like an aerolatte type whisk! that would do the job, wouldn't it??!!
I am contemplating our hand blender to work with me but it's not exactly inconspicuous! it's about foot n a half long!!! and noisy!
i wonder if i could get an aerolatte type thingy from ebay... no shops near me at all.......
edit - 5 mins later... have bought one from Ebay! yay!!! £2 plus postage but would cost me more than that in petrol to get to any shops, not to mentions finding one somewhere!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
