    Grit my teeth and get on with it, I think!

    Drink lots more water and black coffee.

    Have an early night in bed.

    Can't over-exercise due to having RA, so that is out.

    Yeah I guess you do just have to grit your teeth and get on...I have already thought my coping strategy will be going to bed early..and will try to keep fluid intake up and if needs be walk the dogs again!! I like my sleep and have a very supportive husband so he will send me to bed too....nearly time for lunch going to try chicken and mushroom soup yum:) I am hungry today but only day 2 and to be expected I know :)

    Don't worry - as soon as the ketosis kicks in there is no hunger

    We get what I call 'mind-hunger' which is wanting rather than needing food.

    Enjoy the soup!

    I was up at 6.30am today due to pain so it has been a long day so far - waited until noon before having my meal. Have had more than 3L of water today already

    soup was ok thanks! yes your right about mind hunger as suffered with that earlier when everyone was tucking into lunch and I thought that looks lovely ....but I don't need it so I was able to get on and forget it ...got a headache developing this afternoon but was expecting it to be honest and know it will pass! if it gets too bad will take some pills and go to bed...actually am tired today!

    Hello all,

    Well, after having DS no2 10 months ago and still looking pregnant I've taken the plunge and done something about it. I've been reading all your comments over the weekend and I decided to grab the bull by the horns and look for my nearest consultant. So, I've been, got my Cambridge goodies and I'm starting tomorrow. Need to lose 6 stone to have a BMI below 25!!!!! OMG:eek: I'd put 4 stone on with DS 2 but I'm totally shocked by this. Never mind - it's given me the kick I need so I'm looking forward to a new day and a new me.

    Anyone got any tips or advice - also, good to know you're all here for moral support if that's ok??:T Look forward to loosing weigh with you all........:j

    Welcome to the best diet!

    Drink plenty of water.

    Don't pick at things. Have your shakes and nothing else.

    If you are hungry find something to do - we end up with clean houses and ultra-tidy wardrobes, etc!!

    I can't get into the first page of the Cambridge Forum !! I can get to www.cambridgedieters.com but as soon as I click on 'forum' it won't pick it up

    Is everyone else having the same problem??????
