If I am feeling 'hungry' I have a glass of water and a hot black coffee

The leek & potato soup is very nice!

Yeah I did have a glass of water and a coffee and hunger disappeared...enjoyed the walk round tesco as I enjoyed being strict over the shopping as I knew I wasn't eating it:) so saved a bit there too...probably enough to fund my expense on the plan if you include my lunches out that I won't be having now I rekon this might save a few pounds!! AND LOOSE ALL THE IMPORTANT ONES TOO if you know what i mean xx

    CnQ - I'm doing SS+, not 810.

Is it a problem that I manage the chicken fine, but I can't manage to get the salad/veg down me?

I think I'll have to start having a shake at breakfast.

If you are doing SS+ then you really need to have the salad or veg too

Well I've managed to get some (overcooked) broccoli down me today.
    Can't cook, haha.

Got a choc orange shake I'm going to have as a mousse later :D

and why is my consultant so insistent I do ss+ 4 packs and 200ml skim milk..any ideas?

Assuming you don't have any medical conditions that would prevent you from doing a lower Cambridge plan, and you haven't got a BMI of 40 or more then you should be able to do SS, but your CDC has to inform your doctor. Have you made any objections to that?

With SS+ the doctor doesn't have to be informed. I wonder if she's reluctant to write to the doctor:confused:

I can only think it is because she's reluctant...my BMI is 36 and no medical conditions to declare...I told her my doc would be happy as I know he would! I got through day 1 no worries..but that's the easy part I know! but having 4 "meals" and milk was easier than I thought as always had something to look forward to and managed to drink 4ltrs no problem as was always thirsty...still am ...which is odd but good! weighed my self this morning and 4lb off already after 1 day...what more can a girl want :)

:j Fantastic. It's incredible isn't it. I remember wondering how on earth I managed to do it. Many days seemed so easy though.

The easy days do make up for the days we find it such hard work!

In 11 months of Cambridge I would say I have only had a handful of really difficult days, usually caused by the stresses of life not by the diet. Days when the carb-monster has hit really hard.
