hi guys, i started the diet last week and i lost 11 pounds in 1 week , wow that made me happy.
but does anyone know what the weight losses are the following weeks.. and when does your body start to look slimmer after how much weight loss
can some one tell me please. thanks bye0 -
It really depends how much weight you have to lose.
A great way to illustrate this is get two balls of clay. One small and the second three times the size. Now take the same amount from each. You will notice immediately that the smaller ball is littler but the larger ball will not look any different.
The great news is that you have nearly lost a stone in a week! Remember it is easy to lose a stone a month with the CD it does fluctuate thou. One week you can lose 5 pounds, the next two but even if its only a couple of pounds the week after is normally a massive loss. You sound thou that you are one of the lucky ones that lose massive amounts each week.
The best thing about the diet thou is something you haven't experienced yet and its the feeling of total well being and you don't feel hungry at all, this kicked in for me on the second week. Its wonderful. But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more0 -

Well done on the 11 pounds:j That's brill.
You'll lose about 1 stone a month on average. The first couple of months can be more though depending on how much you need to lose.
As for looking slimmer, again it depends. Lots to lose and it can take a while before the general public notice;) People who know you are on a diet often see it quite quickly.
The children at my school didn't notice until I'd lost 5 stone...even then, they thought I had just had my hair restyled
Hadn't had it restyled...they just knew something was different but couldn't put their finger on what it was
As for when you notice....ahhh well....that can take ages :rolleyes:Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant0 -

i have 3 children and the oldest is not even 5 yet.
at what stage will i start looking slimmer i cant wait0 -
Someone said your stomach flattens out a bit after a week and a half and I was really disappointed when after 2 weeks mine hadn't - then yesterday I put on a floaty top and it miraculously hung straight down! I'm on day 18.
Normally your tummy is the first bit to go
Though for me it was actually my thighs0 -
Went back onto 790 on Friday as I was having so much trouble with cravings for bread/pasta etc
Have found it so much easier to stick to. Will do a week of SS in a few weeks' time to keep my metabolism in top form.
Also, am using my power trainer every day which uses 350 cals so maybe I wasn't taking enough calories in for the exercise.
Anyway, hope everyone has a great CD week!

How are our CDers getting on?
Eveyone has been really quiet here lately!
I went back onto 790 last Friday and am having no problems with cravings any more, thank goodness.0 -
C&Q - I don't post on this thread, but pop on to look now and again as I lost 5 stones or so with Lipotrim, so find it interesting. Can I just say your achievement is amazing. You must truly be a new person - congratulations, and very good luck with maintaining your weight once you're at goal. Just being nosy - how do you intend to maintain?******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Thanks very much!
I am a totally new person with a whole new wardrobe!
Cambridge leads us to a low GI diet with maintenance as we work up the Plans so am intending to stick with that as far as possible.
In any event I have to keep off wheat due to the intolerance, which means that I will only be able to have meals made from scratch for life anyway.0 -
There may well be ready made wheat free food soon, I mean, years back they didn't have half an aisle dedicated to it!
You can already get rye bread ready cooked
I'm having monster food cravings when I get in from school at the moment, so I think I'll be moving to SS+ sooner than I was planned to.
Also, my losses keep slowing down (2lbs since my last weigh-in, 6 days ago) so a bit extra nourishment might speed it up a bit.
Here's hoping0
