At first an apology..... for not bothering to read ALL 85 pages of this thread!

I did read the first few and the last few though.

I have successfully used CD, I started 02/09/05 (7 days b4 my 5th wedding anniversary) I weighed in at a massive 17stone 10lb and was a size 24 (at 5'6" that is pretty damn round as I'm sure you can imagine) I started on a Friday and was incredibly committed come what may, my Sunday I had a stinking migraine as I had cut out drinking tea completely (not allowed milk on Sole Source) but on Monday I felt absolutely fantastic, no hunger, lots of energy, skin looked brighter and thankfully no headache. I did a half week weigh in and had already lost 2lb 8oz, by the following Friday I had lost another 7lbs, it was at this point I knew I had found a diet that would work for me.

I am now 11 stone (which although being the max weight I can be, I look healthy I did go down to 10st 10lbs, but my face looked drawn and I looked tired, so gently crept my weight up and when I looked healthy in the mirror thats when I stopped)

In any diet there are always going to be difficulties, hiccups, minor barriers but it depends how you handle them as to how successful your diet will be..... EVERY diet works, it just maybe that some don't work for everyone, its a case of finding which suits your lifestyle, your mindset and possibly how committed you are to losing the weight.

If you want to find out more about the Cambridge diet I would suggest taking a look at... https://www.cambridge-diet.co.uk

You can find your local counsellor, read true stories and view peoples before and after shots....and if you read the stories you will even see that one woman had success using Sole Source and still having her sunday meal with her family.....another lady allowed herself 1 I repeat '1' chunk of chocolate each evening and both of these ladies have successfully maintained their weight loss.

The rules and regulations to VLCD's (very low calorie diets) have changed recently so its worth having a read on the website.

My only warning would be to NEVER ever buy CD's from a non reputable source eg ebay, the ONLY place anyone should be getting CD's is from a qualified Cambridge Diet Counsellor, who will also be the person counselling you through your weight loss.

Sorry if I have babbled on too much, and I wish very big successes to those using Cambridge atm.

Ebay banned the sale of all Cambridge products about a week ago now - not before time!

Cambridge Head Office had put a complaint in to ebay about folks whom are vulnerable buying from such a source.

My CDC is about to have her first baby - am awaiting news! Hope all goes well for her anyway.

It's about time Ebay took notice, Cambridge have been banning counsellors who have been proven to be selling items on Ebay. Unfotunately there was a lot of red tape I think on Ebays side making it difficult for Cambridge to get a solid ban from Ebay on the selling of CD's.

I send all the best to your counsellor for the new arrival!!!!

There seems to be a high incidence of folk starting on Cambridge, losing a lot of their weight then falling pregnant!

Could be the proper nutrition, of course!

hi to all - can I join in please? Have taken the plunge after reading some of the stories on here and have booked my first appointment with my CDC counsellor on Mon. Havent had time to read all of this thread so could someone tell me what to expect on Monday? Will i get my supplies there and then? Sorry its such a basic question. Am feeling really motivated for the first time in ages. I am 5ft 6 and 14 stone 7 and have been feeling nothing will work for me and then I came across you lot. What a great thread.
