  • Well Done,!! you are nearly at your pre-holiday weight already, only another 2lbs to lose and you will be back to your 9st 6lb loss again! You really are doing a great job, hope you dont mind me asking, but what was your starting weight? In your before photograph, I did not think that you looked very big at all. It was quite an old picture though was it not?
    Keep up the fantastic work

  • No, I had mislaid some pounds somewhere along the line so had to lose them off the total lost. My CDC and I sorted it out the other day. The figure is now totally correct as to the weight loss. My CDC doesn't count half and quarter pounds, so if the weight loss is 6lbs 10ozs she rounds it up to 7lbs lost. So, somewhere along the line it mounted up to 7lbs that had gone adrift. Have decided not to do that this time around. Am going to count the whole pounds only and round it DOWN not up.

    I had gained 14lbs and I have lost 18lbs

I have now lost 4lbs more weight than when I went on holiday!!

Total loss is 9 stones and 4lbs

The photo is only 2 years old.

I was a size 28/30 in that photograph and I was HUGE. Currently a 16/18

  • Keep focussed on the reasons you want to lose the weight.

Keep looking towards the goal and you won't go far wrong.

Have you decided what you are going to eat whilst you are away?

A fair amount of my 14lbs weight gain would be water - but I did fall off the 1000 Plan wagon anyway.

  • i thought that i would try to stick to ss+, two drinks a day and a small eveing meal, ie chicken and salad. i dont drink alcohol anyway so that wont be a problem. however i do like my bread and that is the main stumbling block for me, but fingers crossed.
i am a bit worried about the day that i travel, got a 4 hour trip to london, then about 1 hour to the airport a two hour wait for the flight etc....... so that will be hard.
  • SS+ is three meals per day.

If you are going to do SS+ you really must do the 3 replacement meals plus the food on top.

For the journey take bars and tetras.

BTW you can only take bars in your hand luggage, the tetras have to go into the hold as they are liquid.

Well I would not have said that you were that size in the the beginning, you obviously carried your weight well ;) What weight are you now aiming for as your goal weight, and what size are you hoping to get into?
