Hi cute
I was trying to put how i felt last year
I was naughty so cheated quite a bit sandwich etc but what i was trying to say if you follow the plan correctly and eat what your supposed to it wont make you feel hungry
But if you do it like i used to then its no good as i wanted more of the wrong foods
Sorry if i didnt make that clear enough in my last post
Also im been reading all the posts on this thread and i remember you saying near christmas theres a new shake orange winter spice is that still available and ive also saved all your posts about all the things you can do with the shakes muffins etc thanks for this
I know im a pain but ive got another question on one of your posts you were saying how to make porridge with the shakes but you had to add something to them can you tell me what it is and is that allowed on SS
Thanks0 -
You add psyllium husks - I haven't made it but will find the recipe for you.
The Orange Winter Spice is still available - I got a boxfull of it last Tuesday from my CDC. Head Office still have some - just ask your CDC - I love it hot!!

Recipe for porridge courtesy of someone on minimins!
Put 1/2 pint of hot water in a measuring jug, add shake of your choice (my Fave is Banana) and whish with an electric blender. Add a dessetspoonful of the husks and quickly whisk again. Just enough to blend them into the mixture. Pour into a bowl. At this point it will still be quite runny but will thicken up as you eat it. Dont be tempted to blend it until it is thick or you will end up with wallpaper paste lol.

CnQ can you have the husks on SS???Sometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0
-
Yes the husks are allowed on SS as they have no calorific/nutritional value - they simply add roughage to the diet so are helpful if someone is suffering with constipation

hmmm yes thats where they would come in useful for me lol!
I usually stick to just tetras or tetras and bars after the 2 weeks - I might start having some sachets to vary, I might even try the soups again does anyone have any recommendations? In fact what flavour soups do they even do? I remember at the start having cheese and brocolli and thought it was disgusting, very powdery tasting, like drinking liquid chalk! Do all the soups have the same texture?Sometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
Chicken and Mushroom
Mushroom (lactose free)
Vegetable
Spicy Tomato
Oriental Chilli
Broccoli and Cheese
Leek and Potato (lactose free)
I like all but the Oriental Chilli
They do vary in texture, it is a case of trial and error as to what you will like yourself.

Yes pepper, herbs and spices are fine - just no onion salt or garlic or mixtures of spices containing either
