No, it doesn't matter when you have your shakes.
At the beginning you should really try to split your 3 shakes into 6 so that you have 6 smaller meals per day - until ketosis has fully engaged. That will really help you along.

Ok
I haven't exactly been hungry, but now I do want something I actually really like eating, like fish and chips. I like the shakes and a couple of the soups, but it's not going to stop the temptation of real stodge food. Luckily I haven't been hungry when my mind wanders to those foods, otherwise that's when I will be in danger. Also, the thought that I will be nice and healthy and slim one day reminds me how much I want this. See, when I did WW, I could allow myself to be naughty like that, but then knew I had to cut back a bit the next day or 2. Though it was those habits that would get me back on the slippery slope again! The weight loss was too slow to appreciate.
I think the thing that's getting me the most at the moment is the number of times a day I need to visit the ladies room. The water intake - I'm getting used to it. I can manage my 4 pints now as I have to a routine going. Though the need to keep jumping up and running to the loo has kinda tired me out lol!
Hopefully my weigh in on monday will fire me up and away from the naughty thoughts! Fingers crossed it's a good one...0 -
The toilet trips do slow down, I promise! As your body gets used to the water intake.
I have 5L of water per day...................
The wanting food is down to your mind playing tricks on you - like folks in a desert having hallucinations. I have had some strange mind-cravings which disappear within a few hours or so.

Water Intake
Got a great water bottle from Tesco.
In a vibrant blue or in black.
Sold in Tesco with the fitness equipment as a bicycle bottle. Measures to 500ml/16fl oz/1 pint.
I think it was £1.74. Got a drinking pop-up top.
Thought it might be useful to someone calculating their water intake.

Way of topic
but...hope you had a great time away
Yes had a lovely time, thanks
However, came back to find out that someone had broken into my garage and stolen all sorts ending up with setting fire to the whole lot.
Have spent two days entertaining the police.
About £1400's worth of stuff has gone.
Got to tackle the insurance company tomorrow.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that! That's horrible. You go away to relax, and come back to stress. I hope the nasty piece of work who did that is caught.
I just came on to let you all know that there is a woman on page 42 and 43 of a sunday mag called Fabulous (I think it comes with the news of the world), who lost weight with the CD.
Also, my first weigh in is tomorrow, so wish me the best of luck all...0 -
