I work within the criminal justice system, and I know that hearsay evidence can be given, in criminal cases, but they are just not interested in hearsay for DAW grievances. I have learnt a lot about HR since I came on this forum, and have also seen how devastating bullying is in the NICS. I have had private messages of people's experiences...which I am very grateful for.

How can you possibly expect hearsay evidence to be used to solve this case? What if I had heard you were exaggerating or making this whole thing up? (I'm not suggesting you are by the way)

Would you want this to be used as evidence?

When asking you how you you would like it resolved, you were being asked indirectly if you were willing to go back to your job and if so were you willing to do so if the persons you had complained about were still there and in their roles.

No I did not agree to go back to where I was before, and I will never have to work with them again.
Hearsay evidence, is when people can tell how you felt when you got home, that they had heard the details of the incident and how you were affected... I have witnesses to nearly all of my grievances.
Don't worry they won't be dismissed, this is the Civil Service.

Surely its up to you to tell them how you felt when you got home?

They heard the details of the incident AS YOU SAW IT.

If your hearsay evidence is based on other peoples comments on what YOU have told them then I can see why they won't let you use it.

Not sure you fully understood my post Pepper,I was explaining why they asked how you wanted the situation resolved - it was to enable them to identify whether you would be prepared to return to the same job in the same place if a satisfactory resolution was reached, not to ask you if you wanted the bullies moved, sacked or worse.

And in accepting hearsay from your witnesses at home, they would be obliged to also hear evidence from the people who live with those you accuse.

I am beginning to think that you don't believe a word anyone says. It is depressing to think that you think I am the bully, as I have been very ill, and maybe not able to express myself, as cleverly as yourself. But please don't use this forum to insult me.
I came on for help, and you seem to be on the side of the employer, who haven't treated their staff properly, and are trying to sweep it under the carpet.

You do yourself absolutely no favours at all. Plenty of people have come on here offering reasonable sensible comments and you seem to instantly then say that because the don't support your viewpoint they are against you.

You seem to have a very 'the whole world is against me' attitude and if you exhibit the same in your employment issues then I can completely understand why you are having so much difficulty.

I hope you get your situation sorted - but it seems apparent that at times you seem to be your own worst enemy.
