There are over a million users on this forum. It would be unreasonable to expect they they were all supportive, polite and helpful. Some are just sarcastic to all and sundry, others are downright carping and malicious.

Then again, I've seen many a poster asking for advice only to resent it if it was not just what they wanted to hear in the first place. Why ask then?

Swings and roundabouts and all that.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

No, but when you are receiving abuse such as swearing which I did under my other name, its awful an unwarranted. I reported quite a lot of abuse.

    • I have just realised that you have gone with debt free direct why would you want to pay this company when you can get it all done free?
    • here is what they say on thier website.....madness.
The nominee’s fees for setting up and agreeing the IVA with you and your creditors are taken, typically, in the first 5 months of the arrangement. The supervisor’s fees cover the management of the IVA until it’s completed and are spread over a typical 5 years....

    oh dear
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
