Only just seen the thread, and I must say I'm disappointed. The title gave me so much hope...urs sinserly,

Springsteen played here in Barcelona a month or so back. The rehearsal/soundcheck started at 1pm and continued on and off until 6pm. The actual performance finished at 1am. I quite enjoyed the free show, but I doubt the thousands of people who live nearer to the venue did, especially those who had to get up early for work. It was loud enough that I could hear the words, and I live 1.5 miles away. So although I admire Springsteen´s stamina (I´m 20 years younger and don´t have a quarter of his energy) I have a certain sympathy with Westminster residents. The council have to enforce the rules (which are there for a reason), they can´t make an exception just because Springsteen is a huge name with thousands of fans.0
