baby advice feeding question..

Simple to answer that one, she's a human being with her own mind, just because she's a baby doesn't mean she can't think for herself up to a point. Perhaps sis is more fun than mum or perhaps she fancied a change. Maybe she can tell you're stressed and isn't keen on that?
Either way don't fret about it, let big sis have the fun of feeding her (it's a great way for them to bond) and you get 5 minutes to chill out :T
I'm not stressed with her at all I learnt not to be as my eldest had feeding difficulties and had to attend failure to thrive clinic...
I think you are right about the playing though, all my girls love to play together my baby is very cheeky, at 5 months she was putting her dummy under her bottom lip..

I did not realise you could get fish fingers without bread crumbs either. Sounds like a great idea for dieting to me. Cheap, easy to make fish without the deep fry grease - it should be an excellent filling weight loss food (lean protein)
It is, normal fish fingers and remove breadcrumbs..
6 fishfingers contain approx 15g fat and 500 calories dependant on brand..
Fish has no cals or fat in it and can be eaten unlimited...
For the kids I leave it on and for me I take it off, but for her I would need to check the salt content..
Am desparatly trying to get my baby weight off, trying to lose 2 stoneI always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0 -

I'm still confused as to why you're messing about with fish fingers if you're desperately trying to lose weight. Why not buy unprocessed fish, season and cook. The fishfingers thing sounds quite messy and not very filling.0 -

White fish such as haddock has approx 115 calories in it per 100 grams when steamed so not calorie free and although very low in fat it does still contain some fat.
Would it not be easier for yourself to just steam fish or bake or grill rather than faffing with taking off the breadcrumbs.1 Sealed Pot Challenge # 1480

Why not just eat real fish?
You can easily pick up cheap fish at the supermarket on a Sunday afternoon.
Or we buy a 1lb bag of mixed fish offcuts at the market for a couple of quid - no skin/no bones
It's great poached in milk and eaten with veg/stuck in a pie/lasange/soup...
Much less processed and much better for you and the baby0 -
I already have a stack load in the freezer..so no not cheaper..I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0

I haven't given her any that's the point of the thread, she's refusing baby food i'm looking at options for her as she can't chew lumps and is choking on them...I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0 -

What I eat is irrelevant, this is about what can I feed a baby who chokes on lumps has no teeth and doesn't want to be fed..I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0 -

I highly doubt she's choking. She might gag, but that's actually a good thing in terms of her learning to eat. It teaches her to chew well and how to bring food back up if it gets stuck. If she was choking you'd be performing the Heimlich manoeuvre.
Read up on baby led weaning. It isn't necessary to watch salt that closely (just don't cook with it or add it to anything). You can just give her real food.
Agree with the pointlessness of taking the fish out of fish fingers too!!!Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
