Parking eye parking charge notice

The Blue Badge scheme doesn’t apply to private car parks. Anyone, who’s disabled under the terms of The Equality Act 2010 can use a disabled parking bay. If they’re also Blue Badge holders, they don't need to display it.
The terms & conditions for private car parks usually state that you shouldn't park in a disabled bay without displaying a Blue Badge. This, in itself, contravenes The Equality Act.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

I have read this thread and I to have a parking charge notice from parking eye ltd. I displayed my disabled badge and unknown to me it had run out by just over 1 week and they gave me the tickets saying permit out of date parked in disabled bay. Well of course I was parked in a disabled bay as i am disbaled!!! anyway looking on the thread I did have info to send them but I just need someone to say "dont send them anything" on here as my sister was driving me that day and she is saying pay it!! Please can someone tell me where they send the letters to as they have no address unless they use the dvla?? I'm adament not to pay but I know my sister will want to pay it if they send the letters to her address as she thinks its official!! please please can someone assure us that we need to not respond and ignore!! (i know really to leave it ) but my sister will need to see it in black and white! Thanks x
Right, you will need to be proactive in this case unless you are happy to see your sister scammed!
Is she the registered keeper/owner of the car? Then the letters will go to her address and she will believe the lies won't she? Unless you can convince her to see sense over this scam. NO-ONE should pay a fake PCN!
So nip it in the bud, as you say you are legally allowed to use a private disabled bay because you are disabled. The Equality Act 2010 covers you even if you didn't have a Blue Badge - anyone with a long-term life-affecting condition would meet the definition of disability under the Act. And if that condition means you need a bay nearer the store then you have fulfilled the 'need' criteria as well as the 'disabled' definition.
Go into the store if it was a supermarket/retail car park. Ask for the Store Manager. Slap the offending piece of paper on the Customer Service desk!
Point out that you are disabled so they are actually in breach of the Equality Act 2010 if they allow their agent to continue to harass you. Point out that the Blue Badge scheme does not apply on private land (in spite of what the signs may say, they lie). But show them that in fact you happen to have a Blue Badge - as that's the easiest way to show that you qualify under the law. TELL THEM TO CANCEL THE FAKE PCN UNLESS THEY WANT A DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION CASE AGAINST THEM.
For your sister's information, she should look at this information:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803
That info thread shows all the letters each scammer sends with these fake PCN cons. She can just play snap with each letter if you can't get the fake ticket cancelled. Also it has a link to a Watchdog clip that she must see. She really does need to wise up about this - I suspect you both know about phishing email scams? Well this is a similar mail scam but by post, and starting off with a piece of paper impersonating a parking ticket.
IT IS NOT A FINE AT ALL.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

About a week ago I received a parking fine from Parking Eye. I had gone to Morrisons, as I usually do and did my weekly shopping. Admittedly I do like to take my time shopping looking at all the deals and not feeling like I'm on Supermarket Sweep. I was then shocked to receive a fine as I had gone over the free two hours parking, by 44minutes! And was therefore issued a fine of £40 - almost £1 per minute! And about the same as my weekly shop. From the picture it is clearly me driving. I am furious woth Morrisons and have not shopped there since. There is a sign as you drive into the car park informing drivers of something about parking - but seeing as you drive past it to get into the car park, it is not convenient to read.
When I received the fine, I automatically googled Parking Eye and was stunned with the different information everyone offers. I have missed the deadline to pay a reduced rate of £40, and am now looking at a £70 fine. Please can someone advise me as to what will happen and am I in the right to ignore the letters/threats which are due to follow. I am scared that my car will get clamped, bailiffs will turn up to my house etc. I know everyone says not to pay these cow boys but I dont want to be the one person who they decide to make an example of. I know there is a difference between Penalty Charge Notice and Parking Charge Notice- which is what they send out and not as official as a Council notice and their fines are just invoices. I have not acknowledge the fine either
Also if I still continue not to pay will this affect my credit rating? How will I know that the fine has been dropped? So I can breathe easier.0 -
Its not a fine just for a start, so please get that out of your head now. You are right about the differences between a penalty charge and a fake charge from a parking company. As your invoice is prior to 01/10/12 you can ignore all pleads for money off them and their agents, the only thing that you don't ignore are court papers. On that they generally do not do court.
This will not effect your credit rating, the boys won't turn up at your door, you won't get a ccj because to do so you'll have to be taken to court first, lose the case, then refuse to pay the judgement within 28 days, the chances of that happening are about the same as a lotto jackpot win.
How will you know its over? when they stop writing to you asking to pay their pathetic invoice in a couple of months.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

Different information? Errrr...different?!
Everyone on forums says ignore for fake PCNs issued up until 30th Sept (includes yours). There is no different advice because it's right.
Fine? Errrr...fine?! You haven't been fined at all.
Advise you what will happen? That's what the sticky thread is for, third thread from the top of this parking forum 'PPC letter chains'. Pictures of all letters to expect over the coming weeks/months are there for newbies to play snap with. IT'S EASY!
See my signature, the forum index is one click away and then read the 3rd thread.
I am scared that my car will get clamped, bailiffs will turn up to my house etc.
Errrr...clamped?! When clamping became illegal today?! It's been all over the news but Parking Eye were never clampers anyway.
Bailiffs?! Companies can't send bailiffs round, without winning in Court first and then you ALSO refusing to pay after the judgment - how likely is that?!
Also if I still continue not to pay will this affect my credit rating? How will I know that the fine has been dropped? So I can breathe easier.
NO this does not affect your credit raiting. This is all answered in the sticky thread third from the top, on the Watchdog clip linked there.
You will know they have given up when you get the last letter. You'll know it's the last letter as you will be playing snap with them by then, against the letter chains thread. Also make sure you watch and listen to the youtube Watchdog clip on there.
Your mistake was to land on this random old thread and post without reading the forum, all your questions are answered at the top in the sticky thread 'PPC letter chains'. Just one click gets you to the forum index, see the second line of my signature below which tells you the words to click on.

I am in the same spot my fine is £75 , i read all the reports but can't work out if i should pay. I over stayed my welcome as there were no signs there are brand new signs up now! Empire cinema at birmingham. THe reports say don't pay unless they are a member of BPA. The only real thing I read was it does not go on your credit rating.0 -

Utter balderdash! - You most certainly did not read that here!
Now go and read the forum properly! :mad:0 -
Don't be rude to me. I am so confused I have read so many reports and it is all so much to take in.
I over stayed in the empire cinema carpark and i am sure there were no signs up then. There are now brand new signs and the paint is still wet on the road so I can not appeal at all. All i wanted to ask other people was have they had fines and not apid them and nothing happened to them.0 -
Hat you won't see anything on here about paying parking companies that are part of the bpa, let me tell you the parking companies are the bpa , the directors of that are the owners of parking companies. They are like members club for the boys that is all.
Now please read this , I'll try to be concise - IGNORE!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
