My tactic as well.
Anybody remember getting told to wear nice underwear "in case you are in an accident"? My logic is if the plane goes down, the state of my panties is the least of my worries. I've left panties behind in four countries and 19 states.0 -

Anyway when the weathers good enough to dry stuff outside any undies get put on an clothes horse/airer, placed outside the back door where they can't be seen by anyone else -(big shrubs etc block anyone's view), and over a radiator airer winch fits on the frame of the bathroom window (and also can't bee seen by anyone)."You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Oh, and the birds like my yard. I've always brushed the dogs outside and drop their hair on the grass.
I've seen tufts hanging out of nests around the area.
But one dog I had was really laid back. When he was in shedding season, you could pull his undercoat off without using a brush. He was fast asleep on the grass and a robin was pulling at a tuft on his hip. Never did wake up. But he was a great watchdog when he was awake.0 -

I never understood that one. Surely an accident is likely to result in the underwear being soiled, and that being the case, a nice hefty absorbent pair of knickers is more appropriate than dainty lacy ones?0 -

My mum use to tell me this too when i was little, and i used to take it seriously, it's only now i realise that the state of my pants would be the least of my worriesRaven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -

Me too!
What I don't do is put socks out. But not because they can be seen, because I have two toddlers and goodness knows what they do with socks, but there's always about a hundred in the basket, I wouldn't have enough pegs, or patience. I give them to dd who is 22mths and she takes them, one by one, lol and puts them on the radiator airers, keeps her occupied for ages, lol, especially when she starts rearranging them hahaBossymoo

DTH, you sound like a complete laundryspotter!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:When we 1st moved into our house I put everything on the line-until one week later on a windy day but great drying day! My new neighbour (Jim) brought back my undies that had blown over the fence,I had only let onto the guy once or twice previous to that.To add insult to injury they weren't even one of my better pairs and I have never in the 12 years since put any on the line.As a P.S to this I arrange my washing in order..D.S tops then trousers.. D.D tops then skirts or dresses ..my tops then trousers..lastly if there's room O.H tops the trousers is that odd?wondercollie wrote: »Oh, and the birds like my yard.
