Do you hang your undies on the line?

TBH, it's my bras that wear out a lot quicker than my knick-knocks:p, because my boobs are rather large, my bras don't last long due to the weight of them:o, the amount of times i will be out and a wire will burst out from my bra and out of my top, bloomin' annoying!
Ah, that would explain it. My bust is not really significant.0 -
When I first met my husband he didn't have a washing machine - so we would take the laundry round to the in-laws every few weeks. The upshot of this is that my mother-in-law got to fondle and inspect my undies on a regular basis :eek:0

I usually go for 2 to 1, but then there's the question of whether to have different styles of knickers to match the same bra...

When it was very windy recently I casually said to my friend whilst we were out I double pegged my washing because I don't want to ask my neighbours for my knickers back. She thought it was funny that I pegged my undies out and until then I had never really thought about it. I do hide them behind other clothes just in case anyone is actually interested in my knickers.... you never know a girl can dream

Absolutely not  Bras and knickers go in the tumble dryer. Before we had the tumble dryer, they went on the clothes airer. OH isnt bothered about hanging his smalls out but I very much am. Socks are fine - I dont mind the neighbours seeing them (I have a sock obsession
so most of them are in good condition) but no pants
I used to live in a houseshare with two other girls and we all used to leave our undies to dry on the radiator. I had a pair of Little Miss Naughty boy-shorts that I had left to dry one night and had gone to bed. The next day my housemate rather sheepishly told me that she had had a male friend round who had thought these particular pants rather funny and had started prancing round with them putting them on his head etc (lucky they were clean!) said housemate had come back and rather horrified said 'put them back, they arent mine!' Now said housemate was a size 12, I'm a size 24 - it would have been very clear that they werent hers!
I apologised for leaving them around to which she had said it wasnt my fault - I had only hung them up to dry and her idiot friend shouldnt have touched them! I had to wash them again  Ever since then I've been very protective of my undies :rotfl:*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Wow, this thread is really helping with my frustration as to why they don't do the "obvious" 3-to-1 combo!0 -
My garden happens to be quite private, but even disregarding idiots, deviants and others merely existing quietly, I prefer to be able to look out onto the wilderness of the garden (unweeded), its few neat bits, and clothes neatly flapping in the wind, and not underwear, even if it's mine. I find it more restful to gaze at whole sheets and suchlike.0

I find it a little amusing that some posters hide their knickers to the point their neighbours probably assume they don't own/wear anyI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

It's never occurred to me that anyone wouldn't simply hang their underwear out with the rest of the washing.
Having said that, the family's pants have been treated slightly differently for years - the kids used to like helping to hang out the washing, but of course couldn't reach the line. So they used to spread the pants out on a large bush next to the washing line - it became known as the "knicker bush". The kids left home long ago, but I still use the bush for pants - I think they dry faster on there than the line. (Hubby is not keen, due to the occasional caterpillar in his underpants).0 -
I hang mine out if there's room. I prefer to hang out big stuff because the weather we're having i have to sprint outside and drag the lot back in before it's dried anywayITV comp winner no 410
