We are TTC right now. Well, not while I'm typing lol but I'm OVing now. Difficult with family staying in a house where sound carries but we're managing! So hoping to get PG this cycle so it will be before my last baby's due date.

It can be very difficult with family staying.I had some friends over a few
weeks ago but I was OVing and wasn't going to miss any opportunity
so we had too when they went out.Certainly got the blood pumping!!!

I am hoping to get PG this cycle too.Will be buying a first response test tomorrow.
Here's hoping.:)

When are you testing? I won't be till Jan 10 as it slways takes till 15dpo to get a result for me.

Just really hoping. Would be a September baby which would be great as I so don't want a winter one (PND risk).

I am probably going to test tomorrow.As due on the 31st.I tend to show PG early.Here's hoping for a September baby.Would be the best birthday present ever.

To take things easier and not let stress take over so much.To join in with the antenatal classes provided.

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good Christmas. It was nice for us to have some time off and not have to think about hospital, letters or referrals as no post!

Hi esb83, hope you have good news testing today!

I saw an advert for the new series of one born every minute and I remember watching along when I was pregnant last time taking with my dh how it would be like for us, the future was exciting then. Don't think I would even contemplate watching it now though!

Really looking forward to a new start we have been thinking/ ntnp really but trying not to get wound up about things, if it happens it happens.

Hope everyone is enjoying their time off/ time together.

I completely know what you mean. I watched that when I was pregnant with DD, getting increasingly worried/excited about giving birth. Since her death I have to leave the room if it comes on, or quickly change the channel. Even 5 seconds of it upsets me.

I think the thing that annoys me the most is the 'fairytale' element of it. I wish they would be a bit more realistic. Not every birth goes to plan, nor do they all have happy endings. It sets people up for this magical experience that occasionally doesn't happen.

Anyway, rant over. I know I'm just bitter bit I'm certain I;m not the only person who feels like that

Oh Lilymay I agree, things like that can be so hard to watch, I don't watch it but for other reasons, but I do avoid certain programmes, nothing specific but I know what topics will tip me over. I think it's normal and that the feeling will probably fade eventually, but not now.

You are right, things do fade slowly. Either that, or we just become better at coping with them

Have we heard from ebs83?

No we haven't. I keep checking in just in case. Maybe she decided not to test? Or has posted on another thread?
