Well done! Mr MWC is no longer leaving loose change lying around for me to pilfer

Can I ask you or atush about using hand sanitiser on flights; how often did you use it? Before eating and after the loo? More often than that? Less often?Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Hi Fortune, just dropping in to say Hi
I have read all of your diary (took a while!) and have found it really interesting reading. You have inspired me to make Rhubarb Crumble Muffins tonight with the rhubarb growing in the garden, and to finally start a diary of my own. Have subscribed by the way...keep up the good work!0 -

Happy anniversary
Thank you MWC. I raided Mr F's change dish the other day (adding some pennies from my own purse) and put the pile of coins behind a box on the dressing table ready to feed Mr Marmite. I later discovered that the coins (including mine) had migrated back home to Mr F's change dish! They were hastily stuffed into Mr Marmite before they could go wandering again :rotfl:

Hi Katsu - lovely to see you. I'm not very disciplined about using them tbh. It's usually a case of reaching for the bottle in panic when everyone starts sneezing :rotfl:There should be instructions on the bottle or in the box.

Hi easylife - thanks for popping in. Can't believe you've read all my drivel, what stamina! I hope you like the Muffins. The crumble doesn't stay cumbly very long so you'll have to eat them quickly :rotfl:What's your diary called? I will return the compliment.

For some unknown reason the alarm didn't go off this morning - and Mr F has an important presentation at work  Managed to get him out of the door reasonably quickly with warnings not to put his foot down on the journey.
Am still suffering with the aeroplane cold but it's gradually diminishing. At least it's curtailing my spending activity :rotfl:
Not much MS to report:- £1.30 fed to Mr Marmite (only 12p from Mr F's change dish - I hope it's not drying up)
- a day's work in the office yesterday
- Courgette, Pea & Ricotta Lasagne from the meal plan for supper last night with salad made from leaves from the raised bed
Enough left over to have with chips tonight too
- the raised bed is providing bountiful salad leaves and parsley and it's looking as though the carrot seed may have finally germinated. No sign of the courgettes or the beans though so I may pop to the garden centre tomorrow to see what else I can put in
Happy Wednesday all

The cold is dragging on
and I haven't managed to summon up the energy to go to the gym or do much housework this week
The good news is that Mr F and I have been paid so the monthly money shuffle has happened:- money set aside for this month's bills
- a scheduled OP to the mortgage
- £300 to the savings account (another 1% towards goal)
- all credit cards paid
- entertainment budget replenished
We've a busy weekend ahead. It's Armed Forces Day tomorrow and Mr F wants to go to Chatham Dock Yards for their event. Also got an invite yesterday to a neighbour's Barbie so that takes care of Saturday evening. I'm keen to go to the garden centre on Sunday to fill up the gaps in my raised bed.
Am hoping that I wake up tomorrow morning miraculously free of the cold so that I can enjoy the weekend.
Hope you're all well

Hi Fortune
Hope you have a lovely weekend. Sorry to hear that you've still got that cold - I'm expecting to get one too after 2 x 10.5 hour flights this week
Take care,

Hey Fortune
Glad you had a lovely holiday in Madeira. I went for the day when I was on a cruise and would love to go for longer. Did you go on the basket ride?
Hope that cold has gone now, pesky thing!
