I didn't go back to bed after all but I have taken it easy (physically) today:
- got some sheets washed and dried
- paid the vet bill for the Fortunate Cat's final visit - £185 :eek::eek::eek:
- home manicure in readiness for tomorrow's day out
- got up to speed on the writing course. I had to write a short story to submit which I've finished and will have a couple of hours on the train tomorrow to tweak and edit
Health wise - dare I say it, the cough improved this afternoon and I've barely thought about it. That has meant less stress on the torn muscles too so I've needed less painkillers. I'll take some with me into town tomorrow though just in case.
Feels like things are improving at last

Well my Aunt actually.
Had a lovely day out yesterday. Did cough and splutter a little but didn't notice the chest pain at all and managed to keep up.
It was a very big birthday for my lovely Aunt so we started with tea at the Ritz for lunch. It was my treat so I'm feeling much the poorer but I wanted to do it because my family often miss out. We tend to concentrate on the boys and their partners so I wanted to do something for my side for a change. My cousin and Aunt have been very kind to me this year when others haven't and this was a way of saying thank you. They loved it!
We did a little Christmas shopping in Covent Garden and finished up with a glass of fizz in the National Gallery Cafe. Really good to catch up and we are planning to do something more often in future.
I didn't forget Mr F whilst I was out gallivanting. He loves his cup of tea so I bought him a tin of Ritz tea.
Wonderful to be out of the house at last.
I have tempered the money spending pain a little:- sold 2 pairs of shoes on FB. They are picking them up today so that's a little cash back in my purse
- was so full from lunch that I didn't need to eat any supper
- working tomorrow and Saturday so that should cover some of the cost.
Starting to feel normal now thank goodness. It's taken weeks to get over this thing.

Fortune, that sounds like a lovely trip. The Ritz, Covent Garden, fizz at the National Gallery ... heavenly. And I'm glad that cough seems to be departing.
