Just popping on to say hi
Fortune do you have any advice on taking minutes (not sure whether you still take them as I'm still reading your fab diary) - I also take minutes as part of my job and I hate them !
The way I take them varies between shorthand (i'm not up to speed anymore) and note taking but I've yet to achieve a set of minutes without listening to the back-up recording I have
I'm also wondering if you still use Sw*gbuc*s - I've not heard of it before and was intrigued?
Best wishes0 -

Hi Tcal
I use mind maps for taking minutes - they suit the way my brain works http://www.tonybuzan.com/about/mind-mapping/. The key thing for me is to type the minutes up as soon as possible after the meeting - so easy for me to forget what's been said otherwise.
I don't use $wagbuck$ any more. They are a survey site where you can earn points to exchange for vouchers. I found I was getting screened out more often than not and it just wasn't worth the time and effort. I think others have had more success though - it's worth asking around on the Forum.
Take care

I've had all my hair cut off  It's been shoulder length and the same style for the last eight years. Now it's short and choppy  I like the style and think it suits me but it might take some getting used to.
In MS news:
Money Making:- worked yesterday and took on an additional tour so more hours claimed
- booked in some further tour dates.
- my new jacket arrived and I luuuuuurve it. Not sure that qualifies as money saving though
- have been living on Monday's leftovers as Mr F is away
- bought a waterproof hat for work. Shopped around to get the best price and free postage
- does having shorter hair save on water and shampoo?
- does it count that Mr F is away and the house is staying tidy?
- lots of walking yesterday
- have succumbed to a chocolate craving
One box of malt£z£r$... yes, you heard right - One. Whole. Box
- malt£z£rS
- the new jacket (I may sleep in it tonight)
- cool evenings leading to a good night's sleep
- a glittery pedicure.
- Will I use it?
- Is it worth it?
- Have I checked prices elsewhere?
Friday's coming!

Have just put our figures into a Budget calculator and we'll be about £1k a year worse off, according to that. But it was a rough calculator.
