Thank you everyone for your Christmas wishes - I hope you all had a fabulous time and budgets are largely intact.
We are back after a wonderful time in Vienna. It was just as we'd hoped it would be and we did everything we'd planned and more.
So nice to wake up in our own beds this morning though
I still have the cough (it's going but soooo gradually) and Mr F came down with a nasty virus just before we left. So today has been a PJ day. The new freezer will provide the majority of meals for the next few days so we can take it easy.
MS today:- our cat minder left some presents under the tree for us - some specialty olive oil, a small bottle of cranberry gin, a bag of Th0rnt0n$ chocolates (eaten) and a bottle of beer with beer glass
- Tomato, Pepper & Butternut Squash Soup with Peshwari Naan from the freezer for lunch
- reconciled the bank accounts and checked our holiday spends - all as anticipated
- did the meal planning for the next week. I should be able to get by with a small supermarket shop this week
- researched Hawaiian snacks and cocktails to take to the Luau on New Year's Eve
- Bean & Vegetable Stew with Dumplings from the freezer planned for this evening's supper.

Sounds an excellent plan to me, and I'll join you virtually, as soon as I've got my trackies on and my meal has finished bubbling on the hob.

Me too. No cat and no toblerone but having a little Irish whiskey - just in case I'm getting a cold you understand
