Woke up with a splitting headache this morning. Mr F thinks I'm dehydrated. I think I'm more likely to be hormonal . Anyhow, it was lunch time before I surfaced from the fog. This afternoon was more productive:
    • customer liked the Bumblebee so I've put him on Folk$y for her. He's here if you'd like a sneaky peak http://folksy.com/items/6495946-COMMISSION-White-tailed-Bumblebee-Original-Watercolour-Painting-Picture
    • I so enjoyed painting the Bumblebee I decided to do some more. Across-the-Lane-Neighbour gave me some old framed prints she'd found at a jumble sale a little while ago. I've given them a birthday and started painting some Bees to go in the frames. I'm going to do a set of 4 different species and sell them together. I think they'd look fabulous hung as a group in a period property. Here's a preview of the first just for my forum friends

    • He's a Red-tailed Bumblebee. I'm going to do a Carder Bee next inspired by Greying's wonderful photo
    • Waitr0$£ delivered. £15.05 under budget but I forgot to order the fish for our fish and chip supper tonight  I did, however, manage to order 3 kilos of leeks instead of 3 leeks  What are the odds on supper having leeks in it tonight:rotfl:
... quietly opens the BBCG00dF00d site and types 'leeks' into the search bar :o

    Happy weekend all

  • That made me laugh Fortune. 3kg of leeks

Enjoy the weekend and the picture is fab. Lovely idea to have the set of four to sell as well.

    Best wishes Tilly x x x

  • Ha ha!!! Thats so funny!!! I did the same with Mackerel once!!! And Carrots and pasta!! And the opposite with mince! I remember thinking "What is that big bag the delivery driver is bringing out? It looks to be leaking blood!" and it was a sack of Mackerel with heads on but guts removed! I only wanted 3 and got about 20! Spent the evening Chopping heads off & putting them in freezer bags! I had enough carrots to feed a donkey sanctuary and enough pasta to keep an italian restaurant open for a month but only about 2 dessert spoons of mince meat to make Bolognese with! Oh and I ordered pine nuts and got pine disinfectant as a substitute!! I always shop in store now!

Lol - so funny (sorry). Also leek and potato soup now it's cooler?

I once got 10 bags of bananas, and 24 bottles of milk.
It was the early days and they didn't take them back, so lots of muffins were made, and I discovered you could freeze both milk and bananas. Mmm....frozen bananas are like banana icecream (*goes off to put some bananas in the freezer*)
