A fabulous time was had at the Masquerade Ball. Everybody looked great and the food and band were good. Despite feeling quite sober when I got home, I have a bit of a hangover this morning (#cheated).
- came in £5 over budget so not too bad
- masks survived so will be Fleabayable
- lunch was leftover Ratatouille Hotpot. Thank goodness I had the foresight to cook Friday as I wouldn't have been able to face it today
- sold a painting on Folk$y :j - £14.99 to OP
- received a commission from one of the companies at Goodwood :j
Hope you're having a good Sunday

Hi lulabelle. I'm addicted. We had a bit of a GoT-fest yesterday whilst recovering from our hangovers so have got half way through Series 2. Hoping Mr F is up for another episode this evening

On the up side:
- Step class on Monday
- Harissa Salmon with Spiced Lentils from the meal plan for supper that evening
- made a start on a preliminary drawing for the commission
- sent off the forms to trade the endowment
- reconciled the a/cs - all balance
- meal plan Sausages with 2 Potato Mash, Caramelised Onion Gravy & Peas for supper last night
- a little housework done - need to catch up here
- all the little OPs have added up to £108.09 so far :T
- really struggled with part of the commission drawing. Will have to start again
- will miss Zumba this morning as I want to concentrate on getting the drawing right
Happy Hump Day

Re-started the commission drawing today and my cunning plan worked. I've made really good progress and am further forward than before so feel much more relaxed about it now
Whilst I'm having a good day, Mr F is having a bad one - too much to do and too little time to do it in. Might open a bottle of wine later to spoil him a little
- some admin work last night. More bits and pieces keep cropping up so I've still a few hours to do before my leaving date
- Waitr0$£ delivered. On budget this time and also spent a little of our fun money on a few bottles of white. We have red left in the wine rack but no white so I ordered some with the weekly shop rather than order a whole crate (although that will have to happen sometime soon I'm sure
)
- paid £54 for a pest control company to come and sort out a wasps' nest Mr F discovered in the garage. They must have been building for some time as the nest is quite big. We didn't notice because they were coming in through some knot-holes at the back and the nest was in the attic part. Mr F discovered them when in he went into the garage last night, turned the lights on and they all swarmed out to attack the bulbs  I wanted to leave them be as they'd all die off come winter and weren't causing a problem during the day. Mr F said he had to go into the garage at night too so they have come to a bad end
- a little housework - not caught up yet though
- will be trying Mediterranean Roasted Halloumi with Basil Dressing for tonight's meal plan supper.
Hope you've all had a good day

Oooooh I fancy the roasted halloumi dish - thank you x x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Achieved Goal: 28/08/15 :j0 -
That's good about the endowment policy.
When I worked at a big mortgage lender I knew there was a market for endowment transfers, I didn't realise that was still the case.
:eek:about the wasps nest, I'd be scared stiff!Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
Another stressful day for Mr F but all is resolved now and he is calm again
- finished the commission sketch. I'll take a another look at it tomorrow, make some final adjustments then send it to the client for approval
- got some ironing done (the housework catch up continues)
- a replacement bottle of shampoo was delivered - used a CP voucher to help pay for it
- Baked Gnocchi with Gammon & Courgettes from the meal plan for supper. Made my own cheese sauce though and the courgettes were from the garden - the first this year!
- we broke open a bottle of red (I'm drinking it now and it's delicious)
The weekend starts tomorrow guys!

I absolutely love this diary and have read it start to finish over this last week. Well done to you, Fortune and long may it continue. I hope I have the determination to keep going and get those pennies in the bank :T
But pleeeease tell me, what happened with Nationwide PPI claim? Did I miss the outcome in my haste to catch up, or are we still waiting?

Lollies
Hello Lollies - thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments. If you have the kind of endurance it takes to read through the whole diary I'm sure you'll reach your goals!:)
I'm not really hard core when it comes to MSE. We're lucky that we don't have any hard financial challenges at the moment so it's just a matter of getting the loaves and lilies balance right. For some real inspiration I'd recommend Please Let Me Be Lucky's diary - she's an amazing lady.
We are still waiting to hear on the PPI - it can take up to 2 years now for the FSA to sort things out  My friends in the box will be the first to know when we get an answer.
Do stop by again
