Why on earth did I put washing on the line this morning?
At 5.15am it had the makings of a beautiful day which sadly went downhill - on a brighter note the garden has had multiple waterings
You've had a suggestion for six years, how about going for 5 as you'd be all finished for the summer before we move into 2020. Has a certain ring to it I think?
I hadn't realised oil tanks were so expensive

Now I was going to say I don't feel ready to commit just yet. However, I stopped myself and went back to the mortgage overpayment calculator to see what I could do rather than what I couldn't do.
8 years it is. That feels achievable and, if we do more, it'll be a bonus. I retain the right to change my mind tomorrow though
My budget software will allow me to track the OPs and I'll need to OP £350 each month to meet the target. My plan is to Tillytidy (perhaps to the nearest £5 rather than my current pennies), include Mr Marmit£'s contents, Fleabay, windfalls (I live in hope), savings against budget and any earnings from my paintings.
My £15 tax rebate has been contributed already!
First hurdle - Goodwood tomorrow. The boys are coming down tonight so that they can come too (I think they may be talking to me again) and Mr F is determined to make it a good day out. I have a budget so just have to hope the force is with me :rotfl:

We had a fabulous day at Goodwood. The weather held, relationships were restored and I came in under budget :T
We bought coffees and lunch. The boys bought drinks and icecreams. Leaving £15 from the budget to OP.
We must have walked for miles and the scales are being appreciative this morning.
I cheekily gave out my new business cards at some of the stands and may have got myself a commission (or 2) as a result. Plus an offer of some free space on a show stand if I want to exhibit :j Better get painting!
I have somehow managed to save some meals from the plan which may mean we don't have to do a big shop for this week. That could be about £80 to OP :T
So it's all gravy!
Hope you've all had a good weekend guys.
