oooh - I think I'm going to give the breakfast muffins a go, too! I fancy giving lemon curd a go instead of the apple sauce and mixed berries, probably
And I can convince myself (quite easily!) that they're healthy!!
I'd definitely try the lemon curd, they were lovely. Might try marmalade next time.Getmeoutofdebt wrote: »Thanks Fortune for the recipe! The buns turned out really well! I took some into work and everyone was pleasantly surprised at how nice they were to say they didn't contain any sugar! I have eaten most of them already! They are very more-ish!
:T
Glad you like them. Breakfast Muffins are obviously a short cut to happiness - they've generated more posts than anything else I've posted about :rotfl:They sound incredible, don't they! I'm glad they taste so good - must start in on actual cooking again, as opposed to throwing things in a saucepan
They are so easy Karmacat. I just threw the stuff in a bowl - throwing stuff in counts as cooking doesn't it? :rotfl:

More admin work yesterday - 4 hours general and a 2 1/2 hour meeting. I've got another meeting on Tuesday morning so things are really adding up this month :T
Had the leftover lasagne for lunch yesterday and forgot to have supper  I was in the office in the afternoon and went straight to the evening meeting. A few chocolate biscuits at the meeting kept me goingNot too damaging as, when I got on the scales this morning I'd lost another 1lb :T That's 6lbs in total :T
I've a day at home today thank goodness. We think we may hear about the job Mr F went for this afternoon. I'm on tenterhooks!

Apparently the Headhunter has a call booked with the company for tomorrow.
MS today:- 4 hours admin work! And I've picked up more projects too :T Lovely to have an unexpected boost to the income
- a little housework
- call from B00t$ yesterday to say my frames are out of stock and the manufacturer has only just told them
Another call today to say they are now back in stock :)and they are giving me 20% off for the inconvenience :T Which is a fair amount considering the original cost
- Mr F has been sent an invoice from a company he dealt with when he had his own company years ago. He's certain that he doesn't owe them anything and has all the paperwork in the attic so we can check. In any case, the Statute of Limitations applies - this is the first we've heard of it in over 6 years!
- paperwork for the J0hn L£wi$ credit card has arrived
- Salmon with Leeks & Parsnip Mash from the meal plan for supper. I used the last parsnip :j and mixed it with potatoes to mask the taste. I was worried the dish might be a bit dry but it was lovely and very tasty.

I don't even like parsnips :rotfl:Waitr0$£ gave me a free bag with my shopping last week (by mistake) and I hate to waste food. I've found if I only use one at a time and mx it in with other things it's not too bad.

If there is to be balance in the cosmos it should be my lucky day tomorrow as today was definitely an unlucky day
- Mr F didn't get the job. We are in a great position and can count many blessings. But I know he was hoping to be offered and I hate to see him disappointed
- went into the market town today to do some chores
- met Across-the-lane-neighbour for lunch. She had a 'buy a main meal get one free' voucher
Food was delicious and saves me cooking tonight as Mr F is away. However, the waitress was very rude to us  £9 spent.
- had my hair done. Was charged £6 more than our arrangement
. Was also pressurised into buying a raffle ticket for £5  Not happy - didn't feel I could say anything as I was at the reception counter and there were a lot of people there
- nothing planned for supper as I'm still full from lunch

Hi Fortune, sorry to hear about Mr F but as you say you are in a good place which is good news.
Hairdressing charge is a bit naughty, plus the raffle ticket - £5 seems steep.
I'm sending over good luck wishes and as much positive energy as I can find :T
