More admin work completed today - my next claim is going to look very healthy :T

joined some of the mums for a 'start of term' breakfast at the local caf!. It's usually an 'end of term' breakfast but they're upping the ante :rotfl:£5.85
reconciled the bank accounts - all as expected
Vegetable Ragu from the meal plan for supper

Lovely Waitr0$£ came through for me today. I'd ordered 450g of frozen berries which were substituted for 300g of summer fruits. I was happy with the substitution but just didn't get enough (the fruit is for the trifle I'm contributing to Across-the-lane-neighbour's dinner party tomorrow). A second pack of summer fruits was delivered today

They were in the area and dropped it in and they didn't charge me for them

Hooray for great service!

Fortune, I've been skimming your thread, and not posting, and now, I've just started up a new diary, and I'm looking at my new board, and I find your diary is actually here, not dfw - I never noticed

I've been a bit lazy the last couple of days so not much to report:

Step class this morning
a little admin work
made this to take to dinner at Across-the-lane-neighbours tonight. I left the sherry out of the cream but added some home-made Crème de Mures to the cake. I'll take a bottle of white from the rack and Mr F can either take a red or some beers
called Laithwait£$ to cancel our Premier membership. It's gone up to £40 a year and, although that gives us 2 free bottles of wine with each order, we're not ordering enough now to make any savings.

Right, off to make myself beautiful - Mr F would say "We haven't got enough time for that" :rotfl:
