FS, that Delia recipe is divine! I can't say I'd make something regularly, but its really beautiful! And as for dark chocolate and parsnip cake ... RT, really, you excelled yourself!
Hope OH found you a film you could enjoy too, Fortune.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

. 5 a day never looked so good :rotfl:. A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I left Mr F to his own devices yesterday and drove back to my home town to meet some old work colleagues for lunch. It was a lovely reunion and made me very grateful that I'm not navigating the corporate world at the moment!
- took the company car so no fuel costs
- roast dinner, desert, a glass of wine and a cup of coffee all for £17
- I'd left some leftover Cheesy Rice Bake for Mr F's lunch and we had Spiced Parsnip & Cauliflower Soup from the freezer with the remains of the Cheese & Potato Bread for supper
- a day in the office today
- Mr F will get his quarterly profit related pay in this month's salary :j
- took the last of the Cheesy Rice Bake in for lunch
- someone brought in cup cakes

- Mushroom Stoganoff from the meal plan for supper tonight
Happy Monday all

Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Thank you everyone. February is usually much better so I'm hoping for a big influx to savings and hopefully a few household purchases too by the end of Feb.
MS:- a 4 hour meeting at the office this morning
- submitted my general admin claim and a claim for an office day
- had the second office day confirmed for next week and a new, third day for the week after :T
- popped into the market town after the meeting to pick up some dry cleaning - £17.55
- did a small shop at the C0-0p. Mr F is off skiing on Thursday. One of our neighbours has a lodge in France and has invited him to stay. I know, I know. We rub shoulders with the moneyed but none of it rubs off on us :rotfl:Anyhow, that means I don't need to do a full weekly shop so £56.32 under budget. Although I still need to pick up eggs as the C0-0p didn't have any
- bought Mr F some new socks for skiing - £23.00. Must remember to put those through CP

Hope you've all had a good day
