Just wanted to say thanks again for posting breakfast muffins, I had three overly ripe bananas, was wondering what to do with them, then I thought THOSE YUMMY BREAKFAST MUFFINS! And I can freeze them and take one in to uni with me everyday, saving on calories and money for my usual morning coffee + pastry! :money:
Thanks

Just realised I last posted on Tuesday! Where did that week go then?
In a nutshell:- Mr F left for his ski-ing trip on Thursday
- payday so did the monthly money shuffle
- went out with a friend to a local farm shop for lunch - £24.10 for the both of us and she'll pay next time
- bought some special cheeses and some Turkish delight for a Valentine's lunch I'm planning - £18.95
- popped into the market town on Saturday to do some chores. Picked up Mr F's dry cleaning - £6.85. Bought an umbrella as mine broke last week - £12.00. A quick visit to the C0-0p to pick up the ingredients for Turkish Delight Trifle - £14.12, to take to...
- a neighbour's rugby party. Lots of lovely food and wine consumed
- got some gardening done today inbetween showers
- finished the portrait (attached).
Hope your weekend has been fabulous

Hi Cal - I've just finished the last of mine from the freezer so can feel another batch coming on. I make banana bread for using up sulky bananas too. Easy to make and delicious spread with butter

Hi Fortune!
Just popped in to say I made the marmalade muffins today! Oh wow! They are yummy!! Thanks for the links to the recipes!
Loving the portrait too! I do a bit of painting too when I can be bothered but I can't do people! I always go wrong when it comes to the eyes and they end up looking a bit deformed! Lol. I stick to landscapes! :rotfl:
Hope you have had a great weekend!
