Had a fabulous day out in one of the big towns yesterday but definitely overdid it. By the time I went to bed the torn muscles were agony. I also woke up twice in the night with stomach cramps and feeling nauseous
I'm still a bit fragile this morning so may not make it to art class today.
MS:- stocked up on some stuff I can't get locally - £23.83
- went to B00t$ for an eye test. I knew my prescription would change as I can't see anything with my glasses on at the moment  I must have tried on almost every pair of frames in the shop and didn't like any of them. I decided I'd buy a pair of cheap off the shelf glasses and put my existing frames in to get the lenses changed. The cheap pair would do for bedtime reading and emergencies and I could use my lovely Ray6an glasses for every day. Good plan but B00t$ don't do off the shelf glasses in my prescription so I left with nothing
- lunch in Caf£ Roug£ - Salmon Nicoise Salad (in light of my dieting efforts) and a small glass of sparkling wine - £20 including tip
- a visit to the cake decorating shop for WI supplies - £26.65
- paid friend £70 for tickets to a Rotary Club Ball she'd picked up for us
- bought a new party dress in H0u$£ of Fra$£r. I didn't feel comfortable in the existing dress and, having thought about it, I don't think losing weight would make much of a difference to that. New dress was £91 reduced from £135 and I noticed some threads were lose so got a further 10% off - £81.90 :T
- Bought some replacement makeup for items I'd used up - £39.50
- off to the WI meeting in the evening - £2 for refreshments and £1 for a raffle ticket. Finished decorating my first ever Christmas Cake (picture to follow)
Happy hump day all

Snowflakes and twinkly bits :j
Enjoy the ability to spend, *especially* when its within budget - enjoy the dress too! I bought a lovely JL dress last year, reduced from £80 to £40, for a wedding abroad, and I adore that dress, I'll be able to wear it for years - disguises wobbly bits in a very cunning straight-toga sort of way :rotfl: so I don't have to be a particular weight to wear it either
Hope the sleep is better.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
